It is a great classic. I have so much to learn that I'll have to read it multiple times! 🙂 Also, strangely, on that very edition (same as mine), there is a second volume of that work, which at the shop where I bought them, didn't specify that it is a work of 2 volumes. So I emailed them, thinking one might be a newer release, whatnot. Then I discovered that there's also a second volume. For those interested, the first volume has 494 pages and the second 668 pages. I'm at Vol. 2 page 57. And so far, it is so reassuring, knowing what could happen during the spiritual life. How do deal with trials. How to identify virtue, from defects that could resemble them. And much more. The books themselves also point out to "Christian Perfection and Contemplation", which has the same author.
