Ketamine infusion treatment led me to read this incredulous book by the prolific writer Dani Brown. Her novel KETAMINE ADDICTED PANDAS: DAWN OF THE PANDAS is a nihilist nightmare of drugs and sex and violence written in what I call a poetic narrative rather than a prose narrative. Still who cares what I think. This book will challenge your intellectual prowess to stick worth it. Dani Brown says in the forward, "...I made this shit up.It's not real. I really shouldn't have to explain that to adults..." and Dani Brown expresses, "...I am never in the mood for sexual harassment or an armchair diagnosis." Thus, the subjective view of her novel Ketamine Pandas: Dawn of the Pandas must be taken as a single thought. A difficult and c challenging read because for me it subverts narrative fiction. Dani writes as if she is taking a shit and has no time to deal with people who shy away from life. The pretence of life and the sexual and bodily functions are simply as important and as significant in your 'whole' as your ego. In my case a personal Ketamine journey led me to her novel as a way of reconciling my mad and insane experiences of ketamine infusion treatment. There is no correlation between ketamine as an objective experience in her novel, however her punch drunk novel is in a way reminiscent of a mental trip in insanity. So perhaps there is a correlation.
