Ap history textbook… I swear I pull like four muscles bringing it to and from school every day. I was sitting in my room writing notes about the war of 1812 for four and a half hours today. It didn’t even matter. I’ve never faced a situation in my life when I needed to know the general of every regiment of the Britain and American armies.

The little life is such an incredible and well written work; However, for those who want to read it, PLEASE READ THE TRIGGER WARNINGS. This book will absolutely do what she said it will in this video, it isn’t just some book you pick up, it is extremely disturbing and if you are emotionally unstable or sensitive to the trigger warnings, I personally would suggest you wait and don’t read the book. Many people end up thinking their ready to read it, but in the end no one is ready for it..

I am definitely adding ‘a little life’ to my reading list. A book that destroyed me emotionally definitely was ‘It’ by Stephen King. I understand that many readers aren’t horror fans but I would classify this book being deep in the realms of thriller territory more than anything. This book truly balanced character nuance with topics of sensitivity such as abuse and grief while serving marvellous horror elements. This novel too is almost anything to anyone. Me being a teen myself interpreted it as a ‘coming of age series’ whereas some might argue it is to show the progression of life from childhood into adulthood. Either way, it is a 10/10 for me. Warning: the last chapter of ‘It’ from the sewers is kind of traumatising. If you are below 15 do not read it. Don’t make the same mistake I made. Anyway, I highly recommend!

He wanted to come back because he was worried about their parents, he needs a boy in the hospital and becomes friends with him quickly, they try and find Wenny in the tunnel of death, or at least the neighborhood kids called that, all they find is a monster dog that his sister,Wenny found last summer, his parents are destroyed

For me it was Mars One. The first part of it is so sad. Basically this guy gets chosen to go to Mars, but he’ll never come back. He has a few months before he leaves. His girlfriend isn’t going to Mars. They were considered the perfect couple and would soon be separated. But instead of spending that time together they had to spend it in front of cameras and rarely got to talk to each other 1 on 1. he told her that the reason he’s going is because she’ll die on earth, and he’ll die on Mars.

For me it was if he had been with me. I was dead crying on my floor by the end. Finny would be so sad if he knew what autumn did after he died! 😭😭😭

I love how I've never heard of any of these books. It's not just following a trend like lots of influencers, you're finding books you love and telling people about them. You should read: The Lord of the Rings Bridge to Terabithia The Chronicles of Narnia The last two are kinda childish but I was deceased after finishing them

this might sound kind of pathetic but; fairy tale reform school (FTRS) But the scene in Tricked (book #3) where Anna says goodbye to Gilky and hugs her I was sobbing and the ending of Cursed (book #6) like 😭😭😭

You would probably love "The Lovely Bones" by Alice Sebold. I couldn't even finish it it had me so messed up. It honestly changed the way I see death and love.

For me it’s gotta be All The Bright Places and If He Had Been With Me. ATBP left me sobbing for about 20 minutes and IHHBWM left me staring at the wall with tears silently flowing down my eyes. I don’t think I’ll ever stop recommending these books because they’re that good. Also the Scythe series is fcking amazing like it’s so engaging and even tho books are long, it goes by so so so quick. The plot twist in the first book and the plot twist in the middle of the second book were so so so good

i read plenty of sad books and cry over many of them but you've reached sam made me cry until i couldn't breathe, and how to make friends with the dark......just...it hit hard and i was crying from page 16 till like the end of the book. heartless is also one of the books that emotionally destroyed me, especially the ending line, to ppl who didn't read the book u wont understand how its sad but it is because the way she went from that whimsical innocent girl to the ruthless unforgiving heartless queen just breaks my heart every single time. another book that emotionally destroyed me and this is my top fav book btw, is the ballad of never after, the book in general isn't sad but that ending, just ripped my heart apart, Jack deserves the world and everything in it.

Mine: Follow the River (the ending made me sob) After Rain Falls (took me so long to get over what happened and to be able to read it without sobbing, book 2 of Follow the River) Carnal Carnival (Disgusting, vile, and I would re-read but I would never recommend someone to read)
