yes to the scythe series!! I was so shocked how quickly the first book felt even if it isn't the smallest! I also agree that The Guest List is super to get you out of a reading slump!

I really needed this video earlier today. There are some great picks in your video. I was looking for something quick and fast paced after finishing Elantris and I did consider both 'Warcross' and 'The Rosie Project' but eventually decided to start 'All Systems Red' - the murderbot series. I agree thrillers are a great choice to avoid a slump, my 'go-to' thriller author is John Marrs. I really like how he started connecting his 'slighty' futuristic novels together. I just got the 'Long Way Down' graphic novel by Jason Reynolds after really aprreciating the audiobook performance of the work. It was a quick listen but very powerful indeed.

I haven’t read the Murderbot series but I’m convinced they are the perfect pick as they are all short stories I believe? Based on your taste (SFF and John Marrs’ futuristic style) I’m sure you will like Warcross!

Love your suggestions for thrillers! Anthony Horowitz (the Magpie Murders) and Ruth Ware (turn of the key) are the books who got me out of a 9 years slump!

How did you know that April has been a huge reading slump for me? 😅 I'm weirdly really intrigued by Evidence of the Affair, even though it doesn't sound like something I'd typically read. I always love me a good novella.

Haha! I've been in a 2 months slump and I finally feel like I'm getting back on track. You know I'm really not a fan of romancey-books, and I liked this one very much, so I feel like you'd like it too :)

Hi! Where did you find those Rosie Project books editions? They are so pretty. I didn't find those on amazon or book depository!

Hi!!! The first two editions I bought second-hand so I’m pretty sure they’re old American editions! As for the third books I bought it 2 years ago at Indigo, so probably a US/Canadian edition 🤗

Makes me laugh when people think comics are for kids, cause most superhero comics aren’t even appropriate for children. They’re both too intelligent and too violent/sexual.
