Nice video! I have about 20 flights on my Ranger now with a Jetsmunt 122 at sea level. The one flight I have had the gps unit in the model I was doing 330 kmh or 205 Mph flat stick! This is also my first turbine model and the only other experience before that was a glow powered TigerShark and quite a few fast models, some scratch built. This is DEFINITELY a great first turbine in my opinion.

NICE! Yea it's a great combo! I know guys are flying it with 80's but having the power when needed is ideal!

Great question! Never measured it till after the maiden flights. Empty is 21.6 lbs. Full 28.3 lbs.

Yea. Unfortunatley when the camera is in the hands of a new user it doesn't alway go well. Would have worked great if I was recording my own flight.🤔

Great maiden. I am planning to have the Ranger as my next turbine project. Do you think the SW80 will work on this plane? I saw a post about 21lbs empty and 28lbs full. I live in the Caribbean. I dont know if the SW80 will have a good thust for this bird!!. Any advice will be appreciated boss.

Thanks. If your closer to sea level it will be a great option. The 120 is fun but at sea level it wouldn't be needed at all. Start with MAnual CG Location but plan on moving it rear ward. Batteries typically inbetween tank and turbine.

@thelightersideofrc

Great question! Price friendly I would have to say the Boomerang lineup in general! Affordable, easy to fly and when you have been flying for years tons of fun to fly! There are lots of other great sport jets in the 2000-3500 range as well!

Hello Joe. I didn't measure after the flights but factory CG is good. 12mm of Elev and 12mm on Aile are good starting points. Others that have used these numbers have been happy.
