Gran video, muy buen experimento! Compilar un kernel siempre es emocionante, y deshacerse del initramfs mucho más je. Muy buen inglés también, si yo no tuviera oídos biónicos, jamás me habría dado cuenta de que eras español. Un saludo desde Argentina, campeón saluda a campeón 🤝

Good job BTW. I was wondering about this myself, but it has been many years since I compiled my own kernels. One good reason to use an initrd is to prompt the user for a LUKS passphrase or FIDO2 token to decrypt the rootfs.

The drivers are "encrusted"??? I have never heard anyone say that. Is that some slang word meaning to be compiled into the kernel?

It's a mistranslation of the spanish word "incrustado", which means "embedded" or "integrated". We Spanish speakers tend to do that a lot lmao

@@mlucianoeze Ha, that makes some sense - drivers embedded in the crust of the kernel, so to speak.

Ah silly me, I made that up from spanish, I didn't figure a proper English word for it as this video was completely unscripted :3

Intenta crear un LFS propio, lo he hecho hace un tiempo y no es tan complicado: debes compilar el kernel, algunos paquetes estilo coreutils y demás, y algún sistema de arranque como systemd o sysvinit. Es divertido
