“Rock The Nation” is an opening song from the debut album by the American hard rock band Montrose, released in 1973. Guitarist Ronnie Montrose already gained reputation by this time, working with various musicians such as Van Morrison, Herbie Hancock and Edgar Winter. He formed his own band in 1973. with then-unknown Sammy Hagar on vocals (who later gained worldwide success as solo artist and fronting Van Halen). Rhythm section consisted of drummer Denny Carmassi (who later played with Heart, Whitesnake, Foreigner and many others) and bassist Bill Church (who also played with Van Morrison and later with Sammy Hagar as solo artist). Although “Montrose” album was not a big seller upon initial release, its reputation has grown over time, becoming highly influential and million seller classic hard rock album (also arguably labeled as the "first American heavy metal album"). Here it’s covered by Boozter, rock band from Zemun, Serbia:
Neda - vocals
Nikola - guitar
