@@kino-pravda Hola amigo! Yes I played guitar on that record. It's on a 12-inch EP recorded in Brussels and published in 1983. Philippe Auclair (aka Louis Philippe) sang and plaid bass, and producer Andy Paley played drums. We were 2 naive French young men recording their first record and it was an amazing experience!

@@champollionrockrock5731 thanks so much for answering!! i just discovered this ep recently on the web and instantly loved it! i've been listening to it non stop. only data on discogs was louis name (and the artist that made the cover), but couldn't find any other works on the same vein. can you tell me a little more about it ? were you a band for some time ? did you ever played live? i guess you didn't record anything more like this?

@@kino-pravda We were just a duet, signed by Les disques du crépuscule in Brussels (Belgium). We then hired a bass player (Jacques Delorenzi). We recorded home demos, which I engineered, then the label sent us to England to record more demos with the aim of sounding a bit more "modern". Ultimately we hired a drummer and a piano player and went to the samed studio in Brussels once more to record an LP, but only managed 6 songs. The label did not like what we did and did not publish the record. The band then split and Philippe went to England and became "Louis-Philippe", achieving cult success. The album eventually come out in 1995, named "Let's Pretend" and the band name was changed to "The Arcadians". That record only included one song from the Brussels sessions ("My kind of girl"), the other songs were remastered home demos. We never really played live, only twice: once in Paris (Forum des Halles) and once in Brussels.
