Thank you, I'm glad it helped you understand what you were going through. Indeed, this disease is very serious. Reflecting on what your experiences were like as a 19 year old, imagine what it would be like for a baby! Vaccination is so important.

Im dealing with a bad case of this right now, this is spread from people who dont believe in vaccinations, I am feeling terrible everyday, feels like it isnt getting better, Ive been to the hospital and doctors didnt believe J had it, the lack of sleep breaks you down. Its horrible.

Thank you Maja. This video was incredibly helpful to learn more about whooping cough. Very sad to see the effects of the disease, and also scary to think our mucus defences can be overcome by this particular bacteria.

+Chris Hammang Yes, it is frightening! I hope it encourages people to vaccinate their kids and keep up with their booster shots.

I am dealing with this right now. The doctor thought it was bronchitis but it didn't feel like bronchitis to me (I usually get it after a cold because of asthma) and it wasn't getting better. I told him I thought it was pertussis. He didn't think so but they tested me for it anyway. Turns out that's what I have.

Thanks Vanessa, glad you like it! I trained at the Australian Film Television and Radio School and then did various freelance projects before being offered a mentorship with world renowned biomedical animator Dr Drew Berry. I went to school in Sydney.

Hi Rhea, good question! I think if you include the link and the title and maybe the producer, that should be fine. For example: Bordetella pertussis and Whooping Cough. Animation created for GTAC 2016. kzitem.info/news/bejne/wIWXwJyKf3ppg5w
