Well explained mate, good to hear it in some simpler terms for a beginner to diff builds. I'll be piecing together a plan to go a bigger diff & rear setup for an s-pack XF ute for a street barra. We seem to be pretty spoiled for choice retrofitting bigger diffs but all if not most seem to need minor adjustments on the brake & fitment. Cheers for the video 👍

I found another difference from the M75 from a XE and the M78 from the XE is the small metal square insert on the upper trailing arm on the diff is a different size. The metal bit that the bolt threads into. The M75 is smaller than the M78. if you buy a M75 diff and your are currently running a M78 make sure you get the metal square insert with it. ( I had to cut my one down to size to fit)

To add the leaf spring axles ie. XE ute and wagon do not fit the coil rear diff as the leaf spring axles are wider as is the bearing by a decent margin.

Palmerston Brake (in Berrimah). Great price and lovely and quiet just too awhile as waiting for parts and time. Just plan for that in the build. I took them the diff on its own and they did their thing. Another I have been recommend is Brian from Palmerston Auto Clinic
