Love me a cataloguing chronicler of sub-genres. This is a cut above the usual "bad" film fare on YT & the host is likeable + informed. Been binging these when news gets overwhelming & they're restorative. White Buffalo/White Buffalo Woman is a spiritual/mythos figure in some First Nations (Indigenous) cultures in Canada + the US. I wonder if the movie's double dipping on bad rip offs, not simply as a Jaws clone but in that "let's grossly distort or make up whole cloth what this group of people believe or is culturally significant to them" way where their myths somehow always translate into a variety of nonsense horror. We need more FN filmmakers & a few dozen less cagey dudes making sh*t up about wendigos.
