Sometimes the power regulation chip Lnk (or Tny) goes bad. 7 pin chip (4 pins on one side and 3 on the other)

Same happened with my unit I've had the regulator chip go that fat through hole resistor and changed Electrolytic Capacitors in the power supply section on my Bosch, use Panasonic Capacitors high temperatures type & low esr that way your unit will last very long time, Capacitors do go dry after years especially in heat environment, it stresses the life, BTW solder wick is better than one of those desolder pump, & add fresh solder to the pads, & you can use solder flux, don't get the solder pads too hot or else they come off, Get your parts from either Farnell or Rs Components I find Farnell parts better, or you can use Digikey So replace those Electrolytic Capacitors at the same time change that switching regulator IC & also the fat resistor all at the same time, then it will work, don't be tempted to just try the IC, observe polarity of the Electrolytics, most important, remove 1 component at a time yes 👍 Bosh won't supply PCB circuit diagram, they will sell you a PCB costs £344.14 www.bosch-home.co.uk/en/product/ Repair it yourself under the " Right to Repair " law in the UK Before I retired I was an aerospace defence test engineer, Before that an instrumentation engineer i could repair anything given to me, all self taught, even cars fridges, etc I started electronics before 1969 I was around 8 years old maybe my interest started when I had measles I pulled my mothers Bush radio apart oh she wasn't pleased 😢, I'm making up for it now 😅 I did buy her a new radio when I first started a job 😅,

LNK304GN & 47 ohm power resistor plus Electrolytics Capacitors change for Panasonic Capacitors low ESR & high temperature type, after repair check if pump motor working if not then clean pump & housing, if still doesn't work when pouring water into water tray, then you have to check relay for pump & control signals, 230V AC on that PCB

First id try replacing the fuse on the plug sometimes there just dead. If fine, check the interference capacitor.

maybe a diode shorted?

As others already said, it's probably the TNY/LNK regulator chip and a bigger resistor (sometimes a coil too). Tons of appliances seem to die this way, there are even repair kits on ebay containing said 3 components. Shouldnt be too hard to change, even if the chip is surface mounted, since its not that small.

Hi, in the subsequent video I tried the TNY chip. But I don't know much about these things. Have a look at the video.

May be a fuse protectionon the board? Sensors? Motors? Heat protection? Wet protection? Fuse on resistance from the condenser?🤔💭💭💭💭 or maybe the board are literally dead but by what? May be the obscur of power 《(emperor Palpatin) You need POWWWWWWWEEER!!!!!!》

What is the Indesit Moon doing now? Does it have a new board fitted to do a boil wash & more programs? I hope I see it in action!

there was a coin in the condenser filter that you had missed I saw it on the right or near there.

It looked like a coin, it was in fact a sticker, It may feature in a future video. I am not the kind of person to miss a coin!

Hi! Did you manage to find the cause and fix it? I'm from Ukraine hiding from the war with my family in the UK. We have the same dryer with the same problem. So it would be great if you can tell who was guilty in your case. Thank you!

Not sure I did on this machine. I would start tracing the power on the pcb if I was doing it again.

90% of the time is an SMD chip with the resistor controlling the power into it. The electrician I use to work it says it's always that.

Indeed, but almost all of the PCB is surface mount, I think it is a little out of my league!

@@bootsowen if there's a good electrician in your area you may ask him to do it. Usually it's not very easy to solder it. Good luck :)

Yes, in my case it was ... changed the TNY266PN (not surface mount) and the 47 ohm resistor. The resistor did not have any visible damage but was clearly broken (measured that). After removing it there was a small dark spot on the PCB side of the resistor. Anyway it works now 😀 Thanks for the tip I would not have guessed that!
