I have a Bose 3-2-1, it’s amazing. I hate people saying that Bose has bad sounding quality and they’re way to overpriced. Bose has great sound quality, and they’re expensive because of the sound quality you get. The price matches the sound

I just was shopping around today looking to purchase the bose cinemate II system (seeing as £750 was too much for the GS style) but with hesitation i then walked into my local currys and just randomly asked about this system, to my amazement the guy said we have one left for £490 NEW SEALED ETC... UK RRP - £1,200!!!! snapped up in a heartbeat! can't wait to set this up! and not only that i got the GS styled speakers with a proper amplifier! with EQ settings :D well chuffed!

bought my 3 2 1 gs iii, 10 years ago and its still going strong. Sounds as good as the first day i bought it. I had to add a bluetooth receiver to bring it up to date to play through my phone, but other than that its amazing. I will use it until it decides to stop working. Then maybe I will think of Sonos system.

just use the RCA cables from back of the ps4 to the bose 321. Red and white plugs are the sound. Plug it into one of the remaining sources behind the bose. Sorry for the long delay responding. KZitem didnt have an easy way of seeing your comments untl now.

@@maritzanunez5074 go to best buy or Walmart and buy a Bluetooth adapter / receiver and plug it into the aux port of your bose system and now you can play music from your phone. It shouldn't cost more than like 20 or 30 bucks.

It was a little pricey but I love it and it's worth every dime. Lucky the store had a home layaway and after three months, it was mine... Had it since 2006 and not one day of trouble. Thank God it wasn't build on a Monday! LoL

Viking, It's been a pleasure chatting with you as well. Obviously I'm not saying Bose preys on the ignorant. Bose has diehard fans that won't buy anything else, and they tell their friends, and so on. They don't mind if you disagree with the way they do business. CrutchfieldTV

asatruviking, I've been at Crutchfield for 14 years now, and I have asked many of the same questions to our Bose trainers over the years. The answer is simple, Bose isn't trying to stay ahead of the curve, or adopt every technology that comes out, or be everything for everybody. They are really good at doing what they do, building equipment that is easy to use, solves a problem, and performs well. They know they have haters, but they also have a lot of fans, they are cool with that.

@BobbyBossett Please accept my apologies for the delayed response. The Bose 3-2-1 systems produces a simulated surround effect with the two “Gemstone” speaker arrays and the subwoofer. For true surround sound, you would need at least 5 speakers and a subwoofer. All of the 3-2-1 systems are designed to provide a convincing surround effect with just two speakers and the subwoofer. Feel free to call for additional assistance: 800.315.0030

+Jesus Zuniga Your best option would most likely be to connect all your a/v sources directly to your TV and then connect your TV's audio output to the Bose media center. If that doesn't work, you may want to contact Bose's support directly at 800-999-2673. I hope that helps. --Crutchfield

People who think Bose is the best, should first know what sound quality is: Sound Quality equals to High Fidelity and there are different parameters to calculate it: soundstage, dynamics, detail, tonal balance, extension, ecc. Bose is simply uncomparable to other Hi Fi companies (B&W, Klipsch, Monitor Audio, Focal, KEF, Wharfedale, Dynaudio) they are just two different products. Buy Bose only if you have problems of space or you can't just resist to their design. Hi Fi is another world

Hey viking, I hear that a lot, that Bose should lower their prices. And I can understand that, they offer expensive products that not a lot of us can afford. However, they are expensive products that are in high demand. For example the Bose Soundock is routinely our number one selling iPod dock, and their Quiet Comfort headphones are routinely our number one selling headphones. If Bose products stopped selling so well, they would lower their prices. CrutchfieldTV

The best settings are always the ones you, the user of the gear, enjoys the most. That's one of the big reasons that settings can be adjusted! A good way to discover which settings you enjoy the most is to play one of your favorite movies that you know really well while trying the different settings.

Unfortunately, it does not :( I went to the Bose store and I told them that I had an HDTV, TiVo and Blu-Ray Player and they said I would need to connect my devices to my TV with an HDMI cable then buy an Optical cable and connect it from the TV to the Bose system. I wish it did come with an Optical cable since a lot of people with HDTVs have stuff like Blu-Ray and since the system is so expensive! Did you end up buying this sound system? If so, please let me know if you're enjoying it :)

For the materials Bose uses in their speakers, they have no right charging that much, ESPECIALLY for the Lifestyle 48. For that $4000 I could get some nice Paradigm Monitor 7 wood towers, a Monitor CC-190 center, 2 Monitor ADP-190 surrounds, a Paradigm DSP-3200 subwoofer, a 7.1 surround sound (the LS48 is only 5.1) receiver (Yamaha RX-V665), and a Blu-Ray player (Bose has no excuse for not building their systems w/o a Blu-Ray player). If you wanna see in more details, check out my videos.
