Bosnian Serb policemen from the Sarajevo suburb of Ilidza left the main police station on Monday (11/3), firing their guns wildly over the heads of IFOR soldiers and journalists. Despite close supervision by French IFOR troops, the departing policemen set the building on fire. Earlier, the Bosnian Serb mayor of Ilidza, Nedeljko Prstojevic,
ceremoniously took down the picture of St. George. The sign on the
mayor's office was then removed and the Bosnian Serb flag ceremoniously lowered.
