Worked on these for years, the height of the tractor front and rear are adjustable for what you want, just pull the bolts and change. As for the pump, don't waste your time, just replace it. It most likely never had the oil changed in the crank case( separate from motor and not fuel lubed). If it is full of fuel in the bottom of the pump, it's junk, no rebuild. They were very good tractors.

Great buy on the other tractor for sure! I have lost and replaced tire spoons and that so many times I gave up buying more lol now I just use pry bars and a couple really big flat head screwdrivers for changing tires by hand... I do not recommend my way of setting the bead though when one gives a hard time the old ether trick has never failed yet. ( And yes I do know how dangerous it is launched a few tires in the air doing it lol)

Neat little tractor, I bet you get the pump fixed. I lose valve stem tools all the time as well. I’ve done the cotter key trick as well. For tire bead lubricant I buy the nuggets bottle of dish soap the dollar store has and keep that handy.

Hi Jonathan it's Andy from UK. I was speaking to your son the other day. I asked him about your 4x4 truck but he said you were really biz with other stuff. .but getting back to your video. U can all ways have the right tools but in your job you keep getting called away then that's when u start loosing stuff. That tractor you should get it sorted and make a a frame on the back with a ball pin or something that can just back to old cars and truck u not worried about. Then just back up to them lift them up from back or front u can then bush pull were ever u want to. I'v got one on my tractor it's so easy. And tractor go more places than your forklift will and for what u payed for the tractor is nothing really thay all ways come so handy when u got them set for what u do it cuts down on man hours and save money in long run. Great video keep them coming.

That tractor if you are able too get it going on both cylinders would make a good one for Jordan’s place running that 4’ brush hog around. In pretty good shape and decent hrs on it. Maybe a candidate for a Perkins swap lol... Though I’ve never changed a tire for a wrecker, I have changed many trailer, atv, motorcycle, car and truck tires. Aside from using a set for motorcycle tires (which I bought for MC’s because of the size, being aluminum and could carry on me if needed too. Pretty much always used lug wrenches that came with vehicles. Heated the ends up red hot and beat flat & bent 30° shaped into a spoon tip. No need buying a fancy set whenever you can pickup a handful from your wrecking yard for almost nothing. I wouldn’t have done anything different. Keeps up the good work and thanks for taking the time to make these videos, really enjoy them Jonathan.

Jonathan I bought a pitman arm that a mechanic at a dealership in Alabama cut 4 inches out of the middle and it went you had to turn the steering an extra turn but it felt like it was a thousand pounds lighter on the steering. Just an idea. And also we to 1/4" place steel cut out a hole to fit over yet final drive bearing cap and let it extend towards the the outside and use turn buckles from there over to the arms thus putting the chains on the outside like a normal tractor. They hit the PTO shaft on the insides plus the ubolts get loose and chew up the inside edge of the rear tires

Reg Sparkes Well they are usually 250 mls, or half a pint. STP make it, as do many other companies. When you have only 625 hours on a 30 year old tractor there must have been times when diesel lay in the tank for years. After a long time diesel can smell and look like shellac varnish. Anyway, a bottle of injector cleaner in two gallons of clean diesel and let it run for an hour, see what happens.

Did some poking around using google translate - best I can tell, the name on the hood is "Vladimir" or "Vladimirets", referring to, I guess, the Vladimir Motor Tractor Plant in Vladimir, Russia. The Belarus Tractor Works is in Minsk, Belarus. IMHO, the Vladimir is probably closely related to the Belarus, as the Soviets shared designs among multiple different plants but it wouldn't surprise me if it was just a little different here and there...which may explain why the portal axle gearboxes are turned on the Vlad but different on the Belarus. Now that you've got the ex-Soviet tractor marked cornered, you need a grey market Yanmar! Had one of those - great little tractor - but like the Belarus and the Vladimir, the controls were a little but strange.

I've been a tire road service tech for over 20 years and I've used some pretty unconventional ways and tools to change tires. I have even popped skidder tires off rims with locust fence posts and chains and binders taught to me by an old farmer without any spoons at all and have seated many beads with gas or ether what ever it takes to do the job there is no proper or improper way of doing jobs everyone has a different way of doing whatever it is. Hi If you have one you have a tractor, if you got 2 you now have a collection L.O.L. I have all the info to rebuild that pump, my dad used to rebuild them on the bench in our shop with a new element unit when they seized and stripped the gears internally . There is internal timing in that pump. Then a certain way to time it right internally, there should be a small pin clipped in one of the cover plates to lock the element if it's not missing and stuff like that. if you taker it apart it takes all morning to do them properly, from memory. I think the element unit is over $100 now I found one online (ebay I'm thinking) a couple months ago. Just buy the new pump if you can it's pretty cheap for plug and play as the rest of the tractors right. if you want to send me a message I'll see if I can help you out, with copys of that info I have here in Canada if you feel you just can't resist trying to save a few $ L.O.L.
