Having watched way too many Vice Grip Garage “Will it drive home” videos on KZitem, I couldn’t resist making a Scottish Biker tribute to the genre, when I unexpectedly purchased another Yamaha GTS1000.
The bike was located in Bristol in the South of England, I live in Glasgow in Central Scotland.
Will this 30 year old, 75000 mile motorcycle get me 400 miles home?
I hope you enjoy the video, if you do, please give it a wee thumbs up, and if you are a new visitor, you can help the channel grow by hitting the subscribe button.

Finally a huge thanks to Nick, the previous owner of this bike, for the advance information, collecting me from the airport, and couriering the additional original parts which I wasn’t expecting. This video might have had an entirely different outcome, if you hadn’t been such an upstanding member of the motorcycling community, and looked after the bike so well whilst in your care. Cheers mate!
