Such an incredible work of art Philip! I love the history behind oath rings. To me the symbolism behind them is far more valuable than any spoken promise.

emotive and inspiring. Ive never heard anyone put the blacksmiths vocation to words before. You inspire me to pick up hammer and tongs again and create something beautiful.

I really enjoyed this. The history, and especially from 2:20 and onward. Well done.

I love the history of this. I am planning to make one of these for a friends wedding present. I am curious, what size stock are you using in that video and length? Just for reference. I have a bunch of different stuff and i believe i know what i want to use but im not sure if it will be big enough.. Thanks. Great work!

Thanks! If I remember correctly it was 12 x 12 mm and 500 mm long. I drew it out to around 800 mm ( + the wrap around maybe 150 mm) as the ring measures 250 mm in diameter
