Nice review. Would have been good to include the winwing. Are you aware of the different versions, wrt 26 (“classic”) versus the 30 button stick from tianhang? If you do, do you know which switches are different? Does TH use e.g. 5 way switches for e.g. the nws switch?

@@Mandriick the 26. I’d wager as much as well, though even my 26 button makes the CMS, DMS, and TMS and even the trim hat have a depress as well. If I were guessing I’d say the 30 button turns the master mode into a 5 way as well, like winwing

F-16 sticks have some degrees extra inclination in order to compensate the ACESII seat G´s resistance favorable inclined angle. A-10C have an ACESII seat but in the Warthog case the inclination angle isn´t too much.
@Trac3r.

I even do this with my stick as it is positioned to the side R. Funnily I thought it wouldn’t need outer incline I thought inner all the way. But nope outer is pretty cool and I fly like that for all aircraft now. 👍
@ArchOfficial

Funnily the seat actually makes G-tolerance worse and increases neck injuries. At least according to any studies I've found. It was mostly like that for packaging and wasn't even supposed to go into the F-16 IIRC. Wish I could provide a source other than "designer of the seat said so".

The part that suprised me the most was the realsim trigger. They claim on their website, in bold letters, that they have a 'realistic trigger' but correct me if I'm wrong, that sounds like a regular warthog trigger. False advertising on their part?
@BlackSockRepublic

Well, like in the video my friend Jackson demonstrates a real milspec trigger. Maybe it’s gone through some updates? I’m unsure. I actually don’t like the military / tianhang trigger but I care about being realistic and correct over what I personally like.
@penda4054

@@BlackSockRepublic I will send them an email and ask. I also prefer the realism aspect over personal comfortability. My WinWing a10/f16 stick's trigger actually gives a nice 'clack' action on the second detent like the milspec one, which surprised me. I bet the Tianhang one is nicer though since the WinWing stick is only 150$.

Maybe Realsim has the same connector as TM and you can’t adjust the angle of the grip when is connected on the base, but surely you can do that via his software, and the software is so powerfull that you can do many much adjustments. Not a “fanboy”’here but a happy consumer. In the end, nice video and comparison 👍🏼

When the US went to space, they found the pen didnt work in 0g. So, they spent billions developing a 0g pen. The russians went to space and brought a pencil. Idk why they can't just make the stick adjustable manually, like tianhang did. Thanks for watching though! Uploading a FSSB comparison video now if you're interested :)

@@BlackSockRepublic you’re right, but really idk too, maybe because of limitations, design problems or maybe keep it easy and simple for themself idk. I will fall in repeat but like I said, it’s nicely done in his software. My stick is about 6 to 7 degree to the right and when I apply straight forward pressure on the stick, it wil translate also straight forward push in the software and not something to the left. But I get you point too ofcourse. If you have the Tianhang base, I like to see the comparison with Realsim. If it is “better” and worth the upgrade, why not :) have a good day. The TM Stick is not an actual A-10 replica, but more like a F-16/A-10 hybrid, as the real A-10 stick does not have a pedal switch? The F-16 stick is canted forward because of the force sensitive controls on this jet and the backward canted seat in the cockpit. This makes it more comfortable to use the stick. It´s a ergonomic thing related to the F-16 cockpit. Oh and btw... Bourbon? Single Malt Scotch is the real deal ;)

@@BlackSockRepublic There is some great Bourbon out there, hands down. But in general, i find the taste of Bourbon too sweet. Was just kidding, it´s a matter of taste ofc. Great video by the way. The Tianhang grips seems to be a great piece of hardware. Unfortunately, i already got the RS F-16 and F-18 grips. Otherwise it would be an option to consider. But i for myself are happy with the fixation nut of the RS grips, but i don´t swap grips all the time as i have a separate sidestick and centerstick, so that might affect my judgement. At least it´s rock solid on the FSSB-R3, as well as on my VPC T50CM2 with extension.
