This episode has always stuck with me. I just find that whole rustic ice fishing shed opening up revealing an opulent little dining room, along with the food prepared there to be the absolutely most baller shit I’ve ever seen.

As a Canadian who has never had the opportunity to go to Quebec, I find it really surprising that an American like Anthony Bourdain has educated me on the finer parts of it; this episode was so fascinating to watch and I'm like why has no one in Canada brought out the best of what we have

This is very typical of our "famliy meal" at work Saturday night after service especially its not uncommon for someone to break out a bottle of volnay or pinot local 🍺 also. Great job connection with everyone who you work with somehow we always come to the topic of food.

Every chef who has been on 'Munchies' may want to consider the table etiquette mentioned in this episode. No grandstanding over cheap beer or how much cursing one can dish out over deep fried brussel sprouts happening here.
