Please get a friend, if you don't already have one, for your baby Bourkey. I have had Bourkey's for years and they really need to be in at least a pair for their development and mental health 💗

Had a male rosie sold to me as a plumhead, thanks to my wonderful local petshop i now know what this dignified little chap is all about. He lost his partner, and was SO timid, but now i know his personality. He's no plumhead, he's a pineapple Rosie BOURKE! he is so close to taking treats from me. I am no expert but my wonderful local petshop are 2 delightfully dotty about animals ladies, and were SO helpful in identifying him. Thanks AMHURST RD PETS E8.

Yes these guys are the most beautiful birds of all there disposition is just as beautiful and they are so incredibly sweet with the cutest singing that matches there personality to a t. Unlike most birds the singing usually is a high pitch annoying sound or a loud squawks that are even more annoying even parakeets are annoying with there constant 24 hours a day 7 days a week the sound these guys make the males I believe are more vocal but it's very peaceful and would never get annoying these guys are the best pet for older people especially perfect pet for woman. I wouldn't recommend younger children because these birds are very shy and are very fragile. They are not high strung and don't require alot of attention and are happy are still the same bird even if you buy another same bird and usually birds will change and want to be with the other bird and get bonded and change completely even changing to not tame at all. I actually have a bouque that wasnt tame when I purchased him as a baby when it was supposedly hand raised he was so scared and would fly away never would stay near you but since 2020 he has made so much progress by simply learning by my other bourque that is old and tame and not scared of humans he's finally almost as tame if I could breed these guys I would and I eventually will when I have enough money to care for them properly i am experienced breeder but I would not want to get started without money for vet care in case of problems which can occur nobody really thinks of birds having problems with egg laying but there's alot that can go wrong and my birds health is more important than anything else I am not doing it for money I simply love birds and these are my favorite and nobody really knows about them if there were more of these guys around how much they touch your hearts.and so many people need a good companion especially someone who.cant own a dog the next best pet or cat these guys make wonderful pets and if im.a person all alone if it wasn't for my pets or my birds I wouldn't be able to handle it so im sure there are many other please out there too. I'm so glad that my mom purchased Floyd in Texas and paid the money to have him sent to Utah I wouldn't of never known these guys existed.

This was so insightful I'm thinking about having Bourkes you are right budgies never stop talking this can be overwhelming in the long run, had them as a kid but now that I'm old Bourke parakeets might be the best, I also love canaries but their body language is too hectic for me, it seems Bourkes are equally calm and melodic

My Rosie and Normal Bourke love this video. Its helped them finally start bathing in a plate. It was very interesting to see this Rosie be a male since I'm so used to my male Normal and female Rosie

I'm so happy that this video helped your bird take a bath🥰💫🐦🤗👍 Yes, I can understand that it's confusing my rosey Bourke, Mingo is a male. You know, I bought another wild colored bourke boy and his mother was pink so now he thinks Mingo is kind of his mother when he feeds him🤩🤩💞
