They are slow.. but no question heavy arrows pack a big punch. This hunt also drives home the fact that your target may not hold perfectly still until the arrow gets there meaning you can't count on a perfect shot through the rib cage...

Laughing like crazy at you Texans. Two years ago my youngest son and I were outside of North Bay Ontario and it was -28 degrees. It was so cold the small butane stove we brought would not light because the gas would not flow. We were sleeping in a shed with no insulation and it was the most miserable night of my 64 years. Just as the sun rose and I was preparing breakfast, Junior lets off right outside of the door and I almost wet my pants. Nice big doe. The problem came when we tried to gut and skin her. As fast as we sliced, she was freezing up. After we loaded her almost WHOLE into the van, he announced that he wanted to wait around to see if we could get a second one. I LOST IT!!! I chewed up one side of him and down the other. He was packed up and in the van in 8.5 minutes. You Texans have to toughen up!!! LOL!!!!!!!!!! Just yanking your chain. Thanks for the video.

Hahaha. The razing is well deserved. I hunt in Montana also and I've been miserable in much much colder weather. I don't know what it is.. if it's the humidity or just sitting still in a metal stand for hours but I had all sorts of layers on, hand warmers in a few pockets and I was still cold. Hahaha. Thanks for the comment and good luck this season!
