I've been falling off my shot for years. I will certainly try this crossover step. Thanks for the tip Art.

I have been struggling with constancy lately. So much so that my average dropped by 20 pins from the end of my spring league at 191, to 171 through my summer league. After seeing this tip I made a conscious effort to make sure I was taking a crossover step in league tonight. The series went 255 242 170 = 667 which is my new high series. Thank you Coach Arthur for making these videos. Your style of teaching really clicks for me.

I was falling off mine bad tonight. I had to quite after 2 games. But mine is due to AV necrosis in my hips. That and to top it off I torn a calf muscle 4 weeks ago and just getting back to it. But When I hurt to bad to stay on my leg this is exactly what I do. But as one not to overlook free advise, I will say I have always drifted right. Not as bad as I use to but still close to 5 boards. So Maybe I will give this a go and see if it helps some. But I amhopeful the new hip in Nov is going to help a lot.

It looks to me like the biggest changes are 1) her left arm is now out to the side, and 2) her right leg is now pointing behind her left leg at followthrough ... both things create offsetting counterbalance and thus stability\consistency.

I do the crossover step, but I’m still falling of to the right. Could it be balance arm and knee bend?

Hey Coach, I really could use some help. There aren’t any two handed coaches near me and I could use the help. I struggle a lot with pulling the ball left my target 🎯

My balance is perfect but what Art is gonna find whenever he gets to my Analyze Dis submission is that my thumb stays in the ball WAY longer than it should. Like my fingers come out BEFORE my thumb lol

Zero knee bend, too straight up, needs to slide more towards her target.

lol, her first step was straight forward not to the right😂 I don’t see any pros crossing over on their first step. She has done more than just cross over with first step. Her side step at the end was just a bad habit. Somebody coached her to keep her right leg to the left at the finish which is why she has balance. It has nothing to due with crossing over first step.
