www.myboxingcoach.com - Not all boxing drills need to be about punching. In fact, some of the most effective boxing drills I use don't involve punching.
Don't fall into the trap of always thinking about punching. Some of the more subtle concepts when training at boxing can often bring the greatest benefits. This concept is especially important for boxing drills.
In this boxing drill, I want to help you build your awareness of your body weight distribution, and this will hopefully help you build a more versatile boxing style.
This boxing drill is fairly simple.
Do 3 rounds, each of the rounds changing the distribution of your bodyweight across your stance; central, on the front leg and on the rear leg.
This boxing drill will help you drive the concept taking a more aggressive or defensive boxing style.
Another one for your library of boxing drills.
Cheers
Fran
