Not actually the most outrageous one I've seen. 2006 Sem Schilt, the king of heavyweight kickboxing vs Hong Man Choi, a Korean mostly lined up in fights because he's so tall. Schilt is the king of kickboxing, only ever defeated on skill by one man, himself a kickboxing legend. Schilt destroys all. The two people to ever beat him with a lucky punch, then got utterly destroyed by Schilt in the rematch. Choi was dropped after 3 years with 13-9 record. 7 of those wins came from facing meme-tier fighters like Akebono (a sumo wrestler desperate for money), Bob Sapp (lol), Tom Howard and Sylvester Terkai (both pro-wrestlers lined up for record-padding). And 8th win came from fighting Kaoklai, who a guy who typically competes at welterweight, meaning there was over 50 kg difference between them. Watching Schilt destroying Choi for 9 minutes straddled the border between a legit fight and child abuse. If you scored that fight 30-24 in favour of Schilt, nobody would've questioned you. 'Somehow' after that the exclusively Korean judges gave the win to Choi.

How he managed to get over 30 wins without a loss is embarrassing for boxing. It’s shows how they build these guys up by fighting nobodies to make it look like a super fight that has the potential to go either way….. Boxing has long had the corruption/fixed tag and for good reason. Don’t forget it came through the same systems as wrestling with a bunch of selected promoters that you need to fight for in order to get on the big shows and to get title shots.

Mills Lane is the best boxing referee. Love the way he jumps between the big fighters to break it up without hesitation and fear. I also love the way he talks tough to the fighters whenever they disobey his commands like a drill sergeant. Dude has my respect for that. RIP Mills.

That Lenox Lewis vs Akinwande fight was an embarrassment. History will not be kind and it certainly hasn't been. His children will look at him with shame. He was better off if he simply lost the fight.

8:05 I remember watching this fight with my stepdad and it's ultimately what killed my interest in boxing. We had previously seen the Tyson/Lewis ear bite fight, but obviously we were rather disappointed and that was a freak end lol. The hug session was so boring, I haven't watched boxing since. MMA is awesome though

@@danielfcastro Not sure if I've seen that fight honestly. I'm not a diehard fan of MMA, you can call me a casual and it would likely apply. My interest is driven by charismatic and dynamic fighters. The ones I watch are usually hated lol. Was that fight slow and boring? I'd look it up, but I don't wanna watch a boring fight lol

You should have thrown in the Mayweather - Pacquiao fight. It may not have been the worst but it was probably the biggest disappointment for a fight billed as the "Fight of the Century". I know Pacquiao had some kind of shoulder injury but I honestly don't remember too many punches being thrown by either fighter.

When I used to box Australian managers would fly Thai and whoever else fighters over and throw them to the wolves with their "Prospects" One time I was back stage and saw a Filipino guy with more tape on his boots than anything else. He came in off a 16 hour flight or something, had 2 hours sleep and thrown right into the ring. Disgusting sometimes what people do to their fighters

Tete sliding around the ring like a cartoon character is hilarious 🤣. It's almost as comical as when they had to pause the fight to cut Paulie Malignaggi's hair
