@OlbedSyanKnight

MerlinsJester Nope, it's scientifcally proved than Boxing gauntlets on a fight can make more damage than no use nothing cuz at more weight your hit can charge more energy you will use and dat's equals to more damage (Equals too a more slower hits), so, Orcat your commentary is invalid.
@MerlinsJester
9 жыл бұрын
Olbed Syan Knight "scientifically proved" in which studies? What was the hypothesis, what were the subjects, what was the control, and what was the conclusion? How long did the study go on for and how far was the extent? boxing gloves weigh down the hands (making ones movements slower), they take away the hard contact points (diffusing the energy of the punch), and, simply put, why would you go to put on gloves in a street fight?
@OlbedSyanKnight

Possibly in some cases, but remember that a boxer's punch comes solely from the arms and shoulders. Many kung fu forms can transfer their entire body's force into their strikes. Also since boxers were gloves most of the time, their knuckles may not be as tempered as kung fu practitioners, who train and fight barehanded unless it's sport wushu or sanda.
@supersimon44
9 жыл бұрын
As a skilled amature boxer, I can educate that the punch come all the way from the feet, into a twist of the hips, through the shoulder, and full extension from the arm will put all body weight in the punch. :) but still I love king fu! It looks cool, I don't know how hard kung fu punchers are but I will say when trained to punch properly in boxing we have a lot of power which is speed plus strength! Any this this video was cool man!

Actually, some historical forms of boxing used spinning backfist strikes, including street boxing, and underground boxing. I'm not fully versed with Boxing history, like some of my friends are, so sadly, I cannot quote reference at the moment. Head kicks can, in fact, land on a trained fighter, as evidenced by many compilation K1 and UFC videos, as well as combat Karate, TKD, and Muai-Thai fights.

its meant for comedy but believe it or not most boxers sometimes do, and will go for wide punches if they feel u are offguard, due to the fact that wide punches can generate more force when done right and can eventually lead to a KO, however the problem with this scenario is he isnt fighting another boxer, just cuz this martial artist lets his guard down or seems offguard doesnt mean its ok to go for a wide hit for the KO. he'd have been better wearing down the martial artist and preventing his arm from being too extended or from him being too wide open when trying to go for the knockout (wide swing).Wearing down the martial artist slowly and trying to catch him exhausted and weakened would be the best time to strike. wearing down a martial artist with quick jabs, quick succession combos (1, 2, back 1, 2 hit. etc etc) as well as continuously causing the martial artist to keep adjusting his balance,stance, and guard can cause the martial artist to become more exhausted than the boxer. Also take into account that when in situations like this the boxer has endurance both in stamina, toughness (defense) and sometimes even speed. a boxer for the most part will ALWAYS have exceeding strength than a martial artist unless the martial artist also takes the time to train their strength, not their form. however martial artist usually use their enemies strength against them and can even break their enemies bones, or restrict their enemies joints causing their enemy to be unable to move unless they'd like to sacrifice their limbs to break free. When it comes to Boxer VS Martial artist it is truly a 50/50 due to the fact that there are SO many factors that can play into both sides along with many unforseen events and techniques both boxers and martial artists can display! However do remember this is just for lolz and fun. in NO WAY was this a serious fight. if it was im sure the fight wouldve been ALOT more violent and realistic to a real life situation. and we wouldve most likely seen some arm breaks,blood, or even a fight of endurance. (even tho there was kinda already a fight of endurance lol)

V_Paradox a boxer stands no chance against someone who is experienced in martial arts. A single jab or punch from a boxer can open up a lot of attacks to someone who knows martial arts including breaking the boxers arm at the elbow.

@@adrianquinonez6667 youre really under estimating boxing. Try to grab an arm flying towards your face at 30mph

Bernard Canete u do know if u know martial arts any quick movement that opens an opportunity can be fatal or bad. U do know a person who knows martial arts can avoid a boxers punches at the same time see openings in other body parts to hit much like a counter attack. U can step sideways to avoid a jab and do damage to the arm body or face even the leg or side knee. A swing can result into flipping an attacker over u opening more attacked to the head face and body. keep in mind boxing is just using your fists were martial arts is using both fist and feet to attack. Some martial art experts don’t even need to get up off a chain to take down an attacker they can see how their opponent is standing and what places are left open to attack.

The glass shattering against Tyson was pretty cool but I agree that twister was an awesomely choreographed scene.

@@gunslinger9786 true that but something about ip man vs Mike Tyson was so iconic. Maybe it was the ending of how it ended in a draw? Or maybe it's because in real life these two are literally professionals and legends in their given fight styles. I always like watching them fight over and over again

It does happen in real life though. Or at least at my Highscool anyway. It didn't matter if you wanted the fight or not. If there was a problem you have to handle it one of those days or you get caught off guard.
