For me it was the Atlanta Olympics.. 27 years ago I watched that performance on my CRT TV from Sydney, it has been burned into my mind and, to this day, its still the best Anthem performance I've ever heard.

There is Nothing in comparison and more powerful than anthem of the USA 🇺🇸, with the history behind those lyrics, the sacrifice & heroism of their men and women, liberty and patriotism to their land and people, and love for freedom, is what makes this country the beacon of freedom and prosperirty to the free world. God bless America. I love listening to the harmony of boys to men as I think of this

Just glanced at some of the comments to this video, and I am disgusted. People are so damn negative towards positivity. It's our National Anthem. This is the way they CHOSE to perform it. This is America, land of the free, so they have that right. Just like you have the right to make ignorant comments. Exactly what's wrong with this damn country. This is beautiful. I could see if they were singing disrespectful words or something... STFU!!!

Yeah, they are very talented and stuff but it's not the National Anthem with My Country Tis of Thee in there and it's much to slow. You need to keep the melody in the song and then add some harmonies. This is MUCH MUCH TOO SLOW!

The melody is there, if you had a trained ear you would hear that, I guess you don't. Just because the melody is rhythmically different with the syncopation of the parts at the final stanza does not mean the melody isn't present and I know exactly who's singing it. Shawn....listen a little harder, or try singing the melody along with them
@LatrellHassell

Are they serious? I mean, it's refreshing to not hear the original arrangement all the time but this is just too much. There are times where the melody isn't even present. It's like they're using the National Anthem to show off...
