I love a hood classic I didnt see the lesson's in them growing up I just knew it was real and different but as i got older I now understood the jewels- " your friends across the street don't have a father, and look how they'll end up watch " _ Ferious styles The big difference from having a father that loves you and stays on you- Tre went omnto college Where as his mother was a bitter single narcissistic who showed all the love to rick and showed no love to doughboy. Doughboy said at the end of the movie , " i dont have no brother and my mother don't love me either " THATS REAL!!! look what happen both ended up dead! and doughboy had so much self hate! These hood movies had some deep jewels, and real life lessons in their over all. Especially today, thats why kids need they father's so important!! like you said simpler times!!

I felt really bad for Rickey’s mother when she looked at her son’s test scores. The pain on her face was sad to watch, because you can imagine any mother’s pain after their child has been murdered, especially knowing her son was a good person with a bright future. I remember having a TV back then with a low quality picture where I couldn’t tell what the test score was. We rewinded it so many times. Lol Now with HD I can see he passed the test.

actually the guy who played "monster" is still alive. His name is Baldwin C sykes. people confused him with Lexie Bigham. I remember seeing these 2 scenes as a child and both of them bought tears to my eyes at a very age that i could not understand why they were shooting at each other at that time Especially Ferris being shot ...taking his last breath before Doughboy shooting him for Good that really terrified me so much I began crying hysterical because again I did not understand the story .....but now as an adult I know now.... ice cube was really amazing in this movie so well done the movie is a classic and the director did a good job!💗

it feels ironic when chris just looks and starts panting really hard when he saw ricky dead at 3:21 because they were friends since they were young and its hard to believe a gang friend that have been friends for almost a decade are just seperated like that without saying goodbye atleast because back then it was chris doughboy ricky and tre but it is ricky's fault he was being stubborn and thought nothing would happen the hood will eat you alive you shouldnt believe nobody is going to do anything anyone in the hood could be crazy enough to kill you because they are hunting you down i mean ricky should have believed they would do shit he saw how ferris shot his uzi in the crenshaw mafia party why keep being stubborn if you have a feeling you have to be cautious not reckless in the hood you live in at a time

Probably because even if they did still shoot from the ally way buckshot and slugs lose power at more than 35 yards ricky still probably would have got hit but tre would be in the crossfire and got hit as well both would probably still be alive

@@codymccracken9813 that's was about 30/40 yards and he was moving doesn't matter if he's zig zagging or not. Sawed-Offs are close range weapons, sawing the barrel makes the gun far less accurate. That's why they are used a fairly close range, 10/15 yards. Not a easy shot to make.
