Growing up in FV/HB we would see sponsored/pro skaters all the time when I was like 11 or 12. We got the vibe not to talk to them or get in their way. It wasn't like they were dicks it was just stay out of the way of the better skaters and don't bug them. Brad was one of the only ones that would say hey when he pulled up and say later when he pulled away and even talk to you a bit if you talked to him. He was super cool that way. One time he pulled up to my local spot alone and I was alone. He asked if I had seen some other pros he was supposed to meet there. I told him they were there earlier and heard them talking about the next spot they were going to. he asked if I wanted to go. I hopped in his car and all I remember was how big his shoes were while driving his old stick shift yellow civic hatchback (maybe not the right car but it was def yellow).

Dude that’s crazy I did the exact same thing he does at UPS from 2004-2009. Loved that job. I knew every California zip code at that point in my life. It becomes like second nature reading zip codes and knowing within a split second which tailor it goes in. I think I went like 50,000 packages without a misload. Props to you Brad! The Jim Greco episode would last about 8 hours haha. No negativity, he's 1 of my favorite skateboarders but think about all the times he changed up his image, all the drug stuff etc. I'd be the most excited for a Greco episode. Lots of gaps and hearsay information about his past.

I'm glad Chris was trying to convey was how insane at the time those courthouse tricks were!! It's hard to put in proper context for someone who didn't live it. But if you did you bugged out on this entire video. I really really bugged out when I saw Brad at the courthouse though, my friends and I brains were melted and literally could not believe that was possible. Nice blast from the past with this one.

That’s what’s up I was a sorter at ups for 10 years.. our hub went automated 2 years ago. All the guys that worked on the sort aisle either want driving or became belt tenders. Belt tender is similar to sorting but you don’t actually sort you just watch packages go by and pull off smalls and irregs. Super easy position.

My first skateboard was a Tiger board with rails in 88’. But it was an old school board. I rode it on my butt when I was 5. My first real skateboard that I learned tricks on was an Acme board in 94’. Loved that board. 39mm wheels. My mom ended up driving over it and broke it. I was devastated. Such a good board. Love to hear from skaters who were on Acme.

I used to live near Brad back when he was living with his parents in FV. My friends Sid, Dustin, and I would always buy boards and gear off him and he hooked us up. $30 bucks for a deck, trucks, wheels all brand new. He even threw in a couple of T's and a shit load of Acme stickers. We were just a couple of kids who didn't know anything but I always remembered him being nice and generous to us. Brad's a genuinely great person and always has been. I was 13 back then, now I'm 38 and still a big fan.
