My family member died from injuries in Albert but was buried in Contay. His name is on the families grave in Old Nabwood cemetery and that has been damaged. Wish someone would help put his families grave back together. Louis John Buckingham rip xxx

A similar situation happened in my Canadian family. My great uncle James was killed at Hill 60 in the Ypres Salient June 13, 1916. He rests at Railway Dugouts CWGC Cemetery at Ypres. Three and a half months later their regiment moved on to the Somme, and James brother Arthur was killed September 27 in front of the wire of the Regina Trench, 500 yards south-west of the Regina Trench Cemetery. Arthur's remains were found by a battlefield clearance team post war, and he was buried as an Unknown Soldier at Cerisy Gailly Military Cemetery in Cerisy on the south bank of the Somme River. He was identified later by the wonderful work of the Commonwealth War Graves Commission.

brilliant video. And what a waste of men. For a pointless stupid war. This war was the start of the fall of our empire. Nothing was the same after this war all respect was lost after this war.

It's such a sad piece of history, and I think a lot of people today don't appreciate what we have today as a result of the people who died to active this. Really good and respectful video 👏👏

I noticed that the two fallen soldiers on either side of Ralph's grave at Canada Farm CWGC Cemetery were in his artillery regiment and died the same day. Maybe more of their comrades rest in the same row? Possibly lost in the same incident, such as German "counter battery fire". that hit the artillery battery.
