Very nice! You always do a good job handling those crazy cattle. If there’s one kind I dislike it’s Brahman or Brahman influence (Bradford and Brangus). Way too wild and out of control. Just send them all to the processor in my opinion! Ha! Have a good one!

Can/would you use a cattle dog to help loading trailer? I'm thinking about switching from dry van to cattle hauling and i have a little heeler that rides with me now. Would love to see him employed with me. 😉✌️
@CattleHauling50

Personally I wouldn't use a dog to help load cattle. The few times I've been to a barn that had a dog to help load it was more of a nuisance than a help especially if it's a barker. It got the cattle all riled up and made things harder to load. You can always try it for yourself and see how it goes. Be safe

I have questions: 1)Are the 46 in this video already seperated for you? If not, is it your choice? Are all those animals eventually going for processing? 2) why do you segregate 4 in the front & back?
@calebmanuel17

1)Yes these cows are headed to packing plant 2) they will seperate cattle for him and packing plant will tell to pick these cows out and he haul only kill/cull cows for one plant. For Question 3 he will answer to u.

There was probably over 100 head in several pens there so I just pick and choose the 46 from the older cattle. Everything I haul goes to the packing plant. I usually put 3-5 depending on the size up top in the nose and on the back. It just balances out the weight per compartments. I also try to keep the injured or bad shape for the back so they don't have to go up or down ramps

Then you should know it's not fear and it's just being cautious. Sale barn cattle are all put together from many different up bringings so you don't know what you have until it comes at you. If you're raised on a farm you get to know your cattle and which ones to watch out for. I don't have that luxury

Us human beings are afraid of the severe torture to one's self and being killed but unfortunately we are not concerned about the torture infected on animals when they are being slaughtered for food, in fact such acts akin to killing ones self and eating one self, killing and eating once parents. brothers, children, relatives and friends because they are all relative to one another either as parents, brothers, children, relatives, husband and wives, friends and others. However they change their forms to become animals, birds and others in the process of transformation. So how can we be unkind to eat their fresh and separate them from their family. Thus the offence of consuming meat is beyond describable.
@CattleHauling50

You are sadly mistaken if you think these animals are tortured. There is no pain involved when they are put down and many are sick and/or injured and need to end their suffering. Thanks for the view but this isn't the channel for you
