Braj ras barasi rahyo braj vithin, gyani binu jane bharmay
(The supreme divine nectar of Braj Ras is showering in Vrindavan, but Gyanis who practice the path of knowledge are wandering around aimlessly, without any knowledge about this.)
Jehi khojat gyani jan lakhan
(The impersonal Supreme God, whom millions of gyanis search for...)
Charihun vedan ki pratishakhan
(in every branch of the four Vedas...)
Hari 'alakh' imi lage bhakhan
(And at the end, accepting their defeat, declare that he is imperceptible...)
Vrinda vipin sakhin anchal pat, lipat rahyo soi dhay
(In the dense forests of Braj, that same God is found running after the maidens of BRaj and embracing their anchal to get their love.)
Jehi shankar ur-antar dhyavat
(That Supreme Lord, whom Lord Shiva always meditates upon,)
Jako bhed ved nahi pavat
(Whom even the Vedas couldn't understand,)
Nirvikalp, nirlep, batavat
(Whom they define as Absolute and Unattached,)
Soi nikunj bich bhanulali ke, charan palotat jay
(That same Supreme Lord can be seen gently massaging the lotus feet of Radha rani with love and adoration in the inner groves of Vrindavan.)
Jehi maya-vas vishwa charachar
(That Supreme Lord, whose external potency Maya controls the animate and inanimate of the universe,)
Brahmand-nayak vidhi, hari har
(and makes the governors of the universe, Brahma, Vishnu and Shankar..)
Nachat jyon nat parvash banar
(dance under its control like a monkey under the control of its master,)
Tehi dai chhachh neku si chhorin, kotin nach nachay
(In Braj, that same Supreme Lord, is made to dance innumerable times by the young maidens just for a handful of buttermilk.)
Jaki bhrikuti-vilas pralaykar
(That Supreme Lord who can destroy the entire universe simply by a slight crease of his eyebrows,)
Jake dar kanpat dar, thar thar
(and out of whose fear, fear itself trembles with fear,)
Namahi jako bhav bandhan-har
(and whose name itself possesses the power to destroy the unbreakable bonds of Maya)
Tako ukhal bandhi yashoda, lai santi darpay
(In Braj, that same Supreme Lord is seen tied up to a mortor wheel by his mother Yashoda who is causing him to tremble with fear merely by holding a little stick in her hand.)
Jehi lagi japi tapi, bharmavat
(That Supreme Lord for whom millions of aspirants wander, practicing severe austerities and chanting on beads,)
Yogi yog agini jari javat
(and great ascetics burn themselves in the yogic fire.)
Nij bal kripa kor nahi pavat
(They fail to receive even a speck of grace, as they are trying to attain him by relying on their own strength)
So 'Kripalu' nij maye goda hit, paryo dharani bilkhaye
(Says Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj, "That same Supreme, unattainable, imperceptible Lord of the gyanis, is rolling on the floor and crying for mother Yashoda to take him into her lap!")
