My 2006 Kenworth T800 is extremely hard and it will not move, at all. Has anyone ever replaced the treadle valve on a Kenworth? The truck has been sitting for 18 months. I just finished changing my Petal and my Treadle Valve for the same reason. Both were seized in the down position. Two full days later and I got it done. What a PAIN in the rear end. Thank you so much for the video. :)

Have a 1993 Ford F250, the brake pedal would go down but wouldnt return back up. Have been using my foot to pull the pedal back up. Only after changing the booster, master cylinder. The shop is now taking the brake pedal apart and cleaning it up. Hope this solves the problem...thanks..

I think these are a poor design. These are “under the floor” valves and they get all the abuse from the water, salt, weather, junk and all that crap. Not sure why they made these. They should all be using the “Under the dash, Suspended valve” where the pedal is suspended and the valve won’t get all the crap cause it’s not mounted on the floor.

How hard was that plate to remove from the valve body? I'm having issues separating the 2... I have the 3 cab floor bolts removed and the 3 valve nuts removed but it doesn't want to come apart. Am I missing anything else for these two parts to separate?

@@kcb8130 the truck had set for about a month from when I went out to drive it I pushed on the foot valve for brakes and it was solid would not go down I had to pull the Maxi brake. The plunger and the foot valve itself was corroded and froze up. I had to take the pedal off which the pin was frozen in and clean and lubricate the metal plunger that goes down into the foot valve it's like a little piston that the pedal pushes on it works just fine now it was a pain though getting the foot valve out and getting the pin out of it.
