I just subscribed to your channel after finding your videos very helpful. I'm a huge fan of dewalt and have a few 20 volt and 60 volt max tools and really appreciate the detailed videos you have. as someone who uses the tools for home use for small repairs and occasional car repair and car audio fabricating use. the demonstration you did with this tool was perfect! I'm definitely going to be picking up this tool as i dont have one of those yet and wanted to say that I truly appreciate what your doing here. I found your channel by simply typing in dewalt power tools and your channel popped right up. 😁👍 I look forward to watching the rest of your videos as well as the new ones you make.

@@Jennyfromtheshop I’m in the market for a mid torque impact, and I’m trying to decide which one to get. It’s all going to come down to what promotions come up with at least one battery and a charger.

You know you could buy a 4x4 and drive a variety of lag bolt sizes that’s pretty simple and easy to show in real life use! That way you don’t have to worry about messing up your equipment. I’m willing to bet that you could find a scrap 4x4 and buy a couple cheap lag bolts or even find a stump on your property of some hard wood you could drive the lag bolts into. 3/4” x 8” lag bolt would be a great test of the torque

im curious im register 310T truck and coach aprentice,. which one is better DCF891P2 vs DCF921P2. both look identical but one is xr and other is atomic brushless. which one would be good purchase
@Jennyfromtheshop
2 жыл бұрын
Ok, so I looked up the specs on both and here’s the breakdown. It’s early and I haven’t had my coffee so hopefully I get this right. 😂 Both are 20v and Brushless, have 4 settings and LED lights. The DCF891 is bigger at 8.25” high and the fastening torque/max breakaway is 600/800 ft lbs. The DCF921 is smaller at 4.95” high and 300/450 ft lbs torque. A lot of times, DeWalt tools are very similar but the Atomic line is made for Home Depot and XR for Lowes, for example. For you, I’d recommend the DCF891 because it’s more powerful. Good luck to you in your apprenticeship! You will ALWAYS find work. 💪

Poor review of this tool. It’s not a wood working tool it’s made mainly for heavy automotive or hd construction use. You took off nuts and bolts a cheap $25 made in china impact wrench could do. Sorry but stick with wood working stuff.

Excuse me, but who are you to tell me what I should stick with? The information is good and straight from DeWalt whether I use it much in real life or not. Plenty of tool review guys don’t use the products they’re showing either.

@@Jennyfromtheshop but real life is what counts the most. Why review a product and make a vid when I can read a box and get the same information found in your vid????? Sorry I hurt your feelings!!! all I was trying to say is really test the tool and give an honest opinion on it. If your not going to do that don’t make vids on tools. People can read a box.
