I really dig watching your processes with everything, I've been a sign guy for like 15 years, and it's cool you can still learn knew things and ways of doing stuff.

You may have covered this question but what is the purpose of the continuous color bars on the side of the print? Is that something Flexi can add in the file prep or is it in production?
@stevethegraphicsguy

It’s a function is most rip softwares. Flexi calls them color bars and it helps keep all heads firing even if all aren’t being used in the print. It’s a quick easy way to tell if there is an issue while printing.

Thinking about being an HP latex for mostly wall graphics / wallpaper kind of thing. Do you like yours? Would you buy it again? Love the channel!

I do like mine! It’s user friendly and easy to maintain. The newer 700 and 800 series have some nice perks like white ink!

Thank you Steve for showing the software setup process! This is what I am trying to learn to be more efficient and you do it best! Would love to see more software setups. I will just slow it down using KZitem setting on my end. Thanks again!

looks good! what were you adjusting on the summa during the test cut? is the sacrificially mat expensive?
@stevethegraphicsguy

Thanks! I was adjusting the vacuum/dust control so it sits just above the material. I don’t believe the mat is very expensive. I still have the one that came with the machine and have a lot left on the roll!

@@stevethegraphicsguy cool so it is a roll. And it still pulls vacuumed through it. Is the vacuumed bed run from a built in pump or a shop back

You have great place to work and do some cool stuff.. 5:35 but please you really don't have to rewind you roll and make it touch the floor and cause alot of contamination. Pull the roll after print off the machine with carsboard roll .Just measure your print from you rip software and cut the the lamination by measuring .. then move it to you laminator and line up the first meter without unrolling you print .. it will save you alot of time of wiping the print for lamination.. and risk damaging it also .Keep up the good work.

I hear ya. Some of my projects are so small so I just do it this way. The prints go into a box though so they aren’t on the floor getting damaged. I just wipe to make sure nothing gets in between the layers. Thanks!
