I actually used to grow up watching some of Charles Band's titles like PREHYSTERIA! and DRAGONWORLD during my last pre-teen years in South Carolina, not knowing at the time that there were others like this, PARASITE (with a young Demi Moore) and LASERBLAST (the end of MST3K's seventh season) in his filmography. Then again, Band was one rare case where I actually enjoy the kiddie fare more than his more supposedly "adult" takes.

I'm shocked you never mentioned Martha Quinn! Meanwhile, the movie lied. Blue Oyster Cult did NOT do the soundtrack-- Donald "Buck Dharma" Roeser, their lead guitarist did, all on his own, on a computer. But only the instrumental songs. BOC did 2 songs for the movie-- presumably, for the opening & closing credits-- but only a couple seconds of "Demon's Kiss" was heard (during the hospital scene) and "The Horsemen Arrive", not at all. Someone I know saw this film with his wife, who on seeing one or more of the bands in the video segments, said, "So THAT's Blue Oyster Cult!" -- having NO idea they weren't and she was really seeing 3 other bands. (She wasn't too bright.) I really liked "Blind Faith" by Fair Game (lead singer Ron Keel), but "Manic Depresso" and "Mr. Cool" by Sykotik Sinfoney really flipped me out. This is the only Full Moon movie AND soundtrack CD I have.
