Aro2220 Sorry to say, the level of production quality I've got right now is all I'm likely ever to achieve because I don't enjoy doing all the extra work of pre and post production. You mention Table Top, but video of that quality costs well over $10,000 per episode I'm just a guy with a camera and a camera-shy wife trying to have fun making some vids. So what you see is what you get :)

+rahdo That is more than enough. Your vids are tremendous! Can't thank you enough for exposing viewers to so many awesome games. There are a lot of us out there who really appreciate what you do :) The fact you take the time to reply to most commenters just proves you're doing this for us, and no other reasons.

@Rahdo Honestly, I have to say I’ve watched all your runthrough videos and have purchased some games because of them. Also, the shaky camera, seeing the dog walking and jumping on the couch or almost eating tokens that fall on the floor, plus the every now and then appearances of your wife and playful comments between the two of you, as well as advertisements of her glass works every now and then is what I LOVE about your videos. It gives it that “homey” feeling and makes me feel like you’re family! Almost like watching some good ol’ homemade family videos 🥰! Thank you for taking the time out to make these 👏🏼👍🏼

It's not often you get to hear the phrase "Oooh, there's a Wigan!" exclaimed with such enthusiasm. This video has been invaluable with my learning of this game these past few days. Thanks!

Lancashire, not Lancaster... You will notice that Lancaster is a city on this map (towards the north), and the whole map covers the county of Lancashire.

I'm thinking about buying a board game and I want to see what it looks like, how it works, what the player interaction is like, if there are any balance issues, how strategic the game is, how much randomization/luck is involved, and how complicated the mechanics/rules are. I'd also like to see how players interact with each other during the game...is it like ultimate werewolf where it's all about talking to other players? Or is it more like the game of life where you just roll the dice and do what it says and it doesn't matter if you're silent the entire time. It would be nice if you could get Jan to play with you, have multiple cameras running at once so you can change camera shots in post production, add text on screen to explain game mechanics more clearly and quickly (like TableTop does) and try to be a little more general and organized with how you are going to run through the game and explain it...since a lot of time involves you rethinking what you are doing, re-explaining costs of cards or values of tokens/coins, talking about where you are putting cards and other things that are not really relevant. I think reading the actual rule book is perfectly fine for the fine details of gameplay...it would be best if you stuck to broader strokes and could be a little clearer and shorten up the videos / speed up the turns. Also, since you are just showing off the game and playing with yourself you don't really need to spend so much effort on making really great decisions in this game. Sometimes you seem to stop and pause and think as if the decision really matters and you need to get it right. Broad strokes. Plan the video ahead of time. Bring in another person to show player to player interaction. Don't explain irrelevant things. Try to add some post production (multiple cameras, cut scenes, etc)

my problem with this game is friends asking "why can iron teleport" and cos of no proper reason that time, we played it as both iron and coal need links. =(

The thing that I find so weird about this edition is that the location cards are ugly as hell, like the rest of the game basically, but the industry cards are beautiful, the art on them is amazing. It's almost like a tease. "Look what we could have done for the whole game but chose not to." You almost wish they didn't bother just for the sake of uniformity.

Dude, too many side comments. Keep focused. Narrate the game play, and minimize "would haves and could haves." Your comments are correct, but given that many of us are watching this to understand the basic game play and flow, when you add the asides, you distract from what your main point was. Not trolling, just suggestions for what looks like a good and useful KZitem series. :)
