Oh my God...I laughed so hard when she said "You know when you are done when it stops inflicting pain." I have been using a regular Epilady on my legs and armpits and the pain still never ceases to amaze me. However, the results are well worth it. Honestly, she did a great job reviewing the product. I just got a kick out of her comment.

I started using this epilator a year ago, i had a problem with sideburns and peach fuzz on my face. A lot of hair on my cheeks were dark so when i found out about this epilator i bought it instatly. It removes hair really good but i have a big problem with redness and pimples after using it. It lasts for a really long time, and when it goes down then i need to use epilator again cause my hair grows, and it happens again. So im happy that i can i remove hair but i dont know what to do to stop the redness and pimples. Do you have any advices?

@labrinichr5984

Waxing or epilating is better for dark skin rather than shaving because shaving can cause strawberry legs especially to darker haired people. If your parent don't want to pay laser removal try waxing or an epilator and when you grow older and make your own money definetly laser is the best option for you (if you want to remove hair around your nipple twiz them don't epilate or wax around the nipple)
@CorrieV

Hey - your English is perfect!! Hair everywhere is normal!! I have it on my stomach, cheeks, nips, legs, lower back, everywhere! I would really say don't worry about it, but I struggle, too! I like to use a body epilator on my body, and a face epilator on my face. But I also remember to occasionally grow it out so I can see appreciate my body and give it a break! My boyfriend doesn't mind!

@@caesdc Hey, I’m so sorry you feel that way. I understand the feeling. I hate being being near people without my mask, because at least with clothes I can hide my body hair. I would definitely talk to your parents so they can let you know what they are okay with you using on your body. Waxing and tweezing are the most effective. Shaving is fast, but the hair grows back quickly and may even feel thicker. Keep being patient with yourself and remember that you are on a journey learning how to work with your body, not fighting against it. Much love to you, honey.

I think the facial cleaning brush is included because exfoliating is important before epilating. I have the same epilator but mine didn't come with the brush 😞 because it's the Gillette Venus version which is still made by Braun strangely. I wish my exfoliating brush would slightly rotate since it only vibrates, it doesn't exfoliate that good.

@@cheekymouse4 I agree, i used it during one or 2 month, and the hairs grow so slowly, that during days you don't need to make epilation at all and your skin is smooth. When you use for first time, it wouldn't make results during around 2 weeks, but after it would start to work (maybe time your skin adapt to the products) for once. But if you stop the treatment, hairs starts to grow again at the normal rythm. The product is very great, but very expensive, saddly

But its really coarse and i have to go to the parlour every 3 days. It feels uncomfortable to have prickly growth on my face, because im just 20 and sometimes people also comment that "hey is that a beard/mustache?". Just tried it (or the Gillette Venus version) and I found it hilarious that it FLINGS the hair onto my shirt. I started laughing a bit. Its not prefect, but I have a TON of dark, hard hairs on my chin, to the point I am plucking daily. Thought this would help, but it is quite weaker than I was expecting. Gonna use it for the next few days, though, see if it gets better with me getting used to it.

Sounds like maybe the hair is breaking off and not getting pulled out by the root? I would try epilating in the opposite direction to see if you have any better luck, and if it still isn't working, I would talk to a dermatologist.

Thanks for your comment! I've had mine for at least 6 months now, and so far the battery seems fine. I've replaced it once and use it about weekly. Next time I'm going to put a rechargeable battery in it. I get a few coarse chin and moustache hairs, and although it sometimes takes a few passes, it will eventually get them. If you have a bunch of coarse hairs in a small area, it might be a better idea to get something a bit more powerful. The head is so tiny... it would take forever to get all the hair! I don't have the box anymore, but it says Braun: Type 5365 2015 on the side of the device.

Corrie Side thanks for quick reply. A few mm is possible but you know it’s kind of weird and uncomfortable to let facial hair grow longer than that. So I’m glad you said it catches the hair at such length. Another question: what if the hair is thick? I have tried my other epilator on my thick facial hair and it broke the hair didn’t take it out. Do you know if this product is good for fine hair only?

I have this already 6 months, I prefer it to wax and threading cus you can dose it yourself so you can take a little more time on the sensitive areas, and most of all you can use it as soon as your hair grow which will reduce the pain. I hate pain on my face so I switched to shaving cream and after one month back to epilator else I'll grow a moustache!
