You were fine until you instructed us to download the scripts. You made it seem like they automatically opened and were installed in the LUA folder. They are not. My mac OS asks me what program I should use to open the script after I downloaded it. I could not find one. And I could not copy and move the script to the folder. Could you be a little more helpful here?

Great question! Once you've downloaded the .lua file, you don't need to double-click to open it. Though you will want to move it somewhere where you can keep it (many people put it in the Lua folder, but you don't need to). Then, inside Finale, go to Plug-ins > Lua > RGP Lua… There will be a button "Select file" which brings up the file explorer. Select the .lua file you downloaded. Restart Finale. And then you should see it in the menu bar. Alternatively if you're going to use multiple Lua scripts (would recommend exploring all the scripts on the site), you can put all your scripts into a dedicated folder and use "Select folder" instead of "Select file". Then anytime you add a new .lua file to that folder, it will automatically appear in the menu bar (after a Finale restart). You can find more detailed instructions here: www.finalelua.com/help/install/script Sorry about glossing over this part in the video. I recorded several of these videos about Lua scripts in one day, and probably forgot to mention it in this recording (after mentioning it in several times already).

@@nickmazuk Thanks. Jason Loffredo explains it in more detail on his video.

@@davidyoung6331 He definitely does. At this point, I've made dozens of videos on Lua scripts so I try to keep it brief as to not keep repeating myself every time. But if you feel like that's the wrong approach, let me know! I'm always open to feedback.

@@nickmazuk You may have explained it in more detail in a different video. It almost seemed that way when you mentioned to download the script and then not explain it. That's okay. I understand now. You explained it in an earlier video.
