Burn it! Burn it! This was very timely for me in my journey to self love and care. I was just told that the reason I feel such a need to have others tell me what to do instead of myself making my own decisions was because I've been a pleaser and I just wanted to know how better to please, but not necessarily please myself. Now I'm working toward respecting myself enough to listen to what it is that ~I~ might need or want. Not in a selfish way, but in a loving way. Thanks, Meir Kay!!!

Stop people-pleasing yes, very much yes; but be mindful that that also involves bridge-burning. Be mindful of which bridges you burn, I say, because not all bridges need to be burned. And some bridges are not so easy to rebuild. [/In my honest opinion] 🙏🙏

Absolutely big big 👍👍👍 to you.....I was in a situation similar to that just before Shabbat and I am so proud I choose to stick with the truth and didn't go with people pleasing instead stood by my integrity and truth. Thank you for this profound message

Learn to say no. Set boundaries with people. Avoid toxic people and emotional vampires.

It's Nice to help people in need, but remember your limits on yourself- and set your own goals first.
