Using a headcam, I play a line up drill and talk through the basic elements of what a pro thinks of when playing, highlighting at the end of the video the difference between that and what club players do / think about.
The sound you hear as i get down to the shot are:
1. Breathing out so that my lungs are 2/3 empty on the shot - the pros do this as it is the comfortable lung fill on the shot which avoids breathing on the shot (when breathing you cannot keep the body still which in turn moves the cue).
2. the hand sliding across 12 inches of the cloth into its final stationary position. This is an easier method of placing the hand than planting it on table with no slide. See if you can hear the pros doing this on tv.
