Walt finally took a bullet for Jesse like he asked him to back when they were being held captive by Tuco. And was Walt at the same gas station where Jesse traded meth for gas when he called to get information on Gretchen and Elliot? The writers of this show didn't know how to leave any loose ends, did they? What geniuses!!!

The meaning of the title is interesting. From slashfilm: " 'Felina' is a reference to a song called “El Paso” by Marty Robbins. We saw a clear shot of a Marty Robbins cassette in this final episode, then the song played as Walter got up the wherewithal to drive to New Mexico.The song tells the story of a man who narrowly escaped with his life only to return for the love of a woman, Felina. Walter hums it again later as he’s assembling his gun-bot." So Felina symbolizes what makes him come back, which is what this final episode is about. Felina is also an anagram for Finale (very clever if you ask me). (There was also a fan theory that the title has a third meaning, since Felina = Fe+Li+Na = Iron+Lithium+Sodium = Blood+Meth+Tears) Also, fun fact: the show Mythbusters tried to replicate Walter's gun-bot irl to see if it would actually work, and guess what, it actually works!. Can't wait to see your character studies for Walt and Skyler. As far as I know, none of the other reactors have done that. It will be great to hear your perspective. You've got some awesome movies in your extensive list. I would love to see Monty Python's "Life of Brian" (1979) added to that list. I would also add the 14 episode series "Firefly" followed by their movie "Serenity" (2005) at the top of the list. The movie can act as a stand alone, but following the series gives the story far more depth.

I hope you didn't take the criticism too personally, since I (and a few others apparently) didn't know about your mannerisms / coping mechanisms. Thanks for clarifying! :) Overall I really enjoyed watching you watching the show - great pacing as well! And if you feel like staying in the universe, there is still Better Call Saul, which is a really good show on it's own. I would recommend a little break though - the pacing from Season 5 of BrBa to BCS Season 1 was pretty hard to swallow for me back then. It takes a few episodes to build up steam.

Walt's intentions were never for his family, even at the start. Resentment, pride and ego stopped Walter from accepting money from gretchin and elliot from minute 1. If he accepted their help he would've had a peaceful ending to his life and his family would be happy.
@ottens11

@Джон Таргариен Wow. Are you going to argue that Walter's journey is not fuelled by pride or ego? Yes he momentarily forgoes his wealth because his family is about to be destroyed in front of his very eyes. @@ottens11 idiot, who said that Walter was "sweet, loving, caring father who always thinks about his family first". And that is how you end a great series which most shows always manage to screw up. For my money Walter White's death is the best end to a character in TV history and felt right. *Foreshadowing from the Pilot Episode:* Walter to his students in the pilot episode: "Technically, chemistry is the study of matter, but I prefer to see it as the study of change. It's growth, then decay, then transformation." The chemical transformation of Walter White is complete. No more lies, excuses, or inner turmoil - Walter finally accepts both sides of his nature and can die at peace. Walter embraces both sides of his personality equally - and for the very first time. Walt and Heisenberg behaviors are no longer seen as an inner struggle. How is this shown exactly? 1) No more lies to Skylar. Walter is honest with himself and to her. He was good at what he did, he liked it, and he felt alive for the first time. He did it for him. 2) No more manipulating Jesse. Walter comes to terms with his responsibility for everything. He offers Jesse the chance to pull the trigger on him. He owes him that. Some Bullet Points (pun intended): 1) Assuming Elliot & Gretchen do as instructed - Walt accomplishes what Mike was unable to do. He successfully passed his money on to his family. 2) The “Tuco call back” - Walter taking a bullet for Jesse by shielding him. There so many brilliant call back references in BrBa. Walter even made a robot for Jesse. 3) Walter killed Jack in the same fashion that Jack killed Hank - a shot to the head before he could finish his sentence.

All right! Bikini pics on Instagram! Nice! Or maybe I misunderstand something… after all, I’m a twitter user. Anyway, once again, congratulation, it was a fun journey and I appreciated watching you react to Breaking Bad. Now, I would like to say that I’m looking forward for you reaction to Better Call Saul, I’m up to date, I’ve seen every episode, but, I just never care much for the show. Basically, I don’t like it, so why would I watch your reactions? Get pissed every time you like or praise something? Now, at risk of repeating myself (for the third time) I would place Breaking bad in my top TV show up there with the Sopranos and Mad Men, so if you haven’t watched those two shows I highly recommend them for future reactions. It might be complicated to stream the Sopranos, but Mad Men is available on Amazon Prime Video, at least in Canada. The shield, the FX show with Michael Chiklis (not Agents of s.h.i.e.l.d) would also be something I recommend, even though, it is one step down compare to the other three shows.

Bit of an underwhelming "feel good" finale tbh for a show that took so many chances and went to so many dark places. It was like Vince and Co. were under so much pressure not to screw it up that they took the safe route. Doesn't change the fact that BB is the greatest show of all time and that the final season was incredible (some would say Ozymandas was the real finale and the last two eps were like a Coda). Great job on the reactions it was fun re-watching with you.

The last episode is kind of lame, TOTAL fan service. But, the ride leading up to it was so spectacular that the show can be forgiven for it. The show should've ended with Ozymandias. There wasn't much left to say after that one, seriously. Also, to go out on possibly the greatest episode in TV history, that would've been BEYOND mind blowing.

@Джон Таргариен Best ending for Walter would've been to go out in a blaze of glory with Jesse. Uncle Walter got to cross all his T's, AND dot all of his i's in the last episode. It was way too cute, and convenient.

@Джон Таргариен Everything Walter wanted to achieve, he got in Felina. Money to family: ✔. Got to put a scare into the Schwartz's AND made them "make it right": ✔ Kill and avenge the guys who killed Hank: ✔ Lydia: ✔ Make amends, somewhat, with Skyler ( finally admits he was selfish to her) and say a proper goodbye: ✔ Once he found out Jesse was alive, he wanted to kill him. Then he saw the miserable condition he was in, so he saved him. Nice coincidence for Walt. It all went his way. Until you know.........the dying thing at the end. But, he was dying anyway, so there's that.🤣🤣

@@skymasterson5833 I won't try to change your opinion if you found the ending too convenient and not satisfying. Personally, I found it very satisfying and a brilliantly written work of art. Throughout the entirety of the series, Walter was rebelling against everyone that had been trying to control him. He was well beyond sick and tired of being manipulated. Walter wanted to be in control, to make his decisions, and do things his way. He sacrificed everything to make that happen. The "Talking Pillow Intervention" from season 1 was a serious scene but had humor as well as strong foreshadowing. Walter defiantly screaming "Now I have the talking pillow! To me, it was funny (but serious) back then. In "Felina", Walter finally got to make his choices stick. Walter even got to die how he wanted ... at peace with himself ... in control for the first time ... on his terms and not artificially alive. Walter finally made his talking pillow work for real. *You said:* "Once he found out Jesse was alive, he wanted to kill him. Then he saw the miserable condition he was in, so he saved him." *I strongly disagree with your assessment here.* Why would Walter still want Jesse dead? It makes no sense. Walter had already come to terms with himself before this moment. Jesse was no longer a threat to Walter's plan. That was a "revenge" red herring for the audience, much like the red herring of "Oh man, Walt is angry with Elliot and Gretchen so he wants to kill them". Nope, he wanted to use them. In Felina, Walter used Jesse one last time as a pawn against Jack's pride (for teaming up with a rat) to get his remote. Walter knew he owed Jesse for what he had done to him. He had been controlling and manipulating Jesse throughout the entire series. Jesse was a victim of control just like Walt had been for most of his life. Walter took a fatal bullet shielding Jesse and knew he would die soon enough. So Walter offered Jesse the chance to kill him for all the things he did. But what he really gave Jesse was the opportunity to say "No, you want this so do it yourself". Jesse needed to be in control of his own decisions over Walter for once - even more than he needed revenge against Walter. They both recognized this. It was conveyed to the audience with a "nod" to each other over their history before Jesse drove off.

It's a little disappointing as a finale. I thought Walt got away with far too much travel while being so wanted by the law. For the amount of mess he made during the show, it was too clean of an ending to every loose end. I'm still not sure how he was able to walk into Jack's compound, knowing that he stole $70m from Heisenberg of all people.

It's only a fictional TV show haha, ignore the people who seem to think you need a big emotional reaction.
