Duuuude, I saw you do inverts in a video recently and thought they looked so sick. Had to click right away when I saw this. Yesterday my wrist touched the coping and I landed. Was amazing being so close at 44 on a 4 footer. The bail tips were huge. Thanks!

Love how AJ rides the Frankie Hill 🤘🏻 My fav of all the Powell reissues. Crazy concave and a great feeling board with loads of pop.

Saw AJ doing inverts a couple of days ago at Shredfest😳😳Mind was blown. I’m gonna brush up on my street plants & then see if I can work up to mini ramp.

Landed my 1st one ever this year, still low still whatever but let my tell you this trick chill your spine like ...no words, i remember i had like 2 weeks of 24/7 euphoria. Anyway, I suggest wood ramps, there is the too much leaning back slam that didnt see here,( cuz AJ is daaaamn good)....when I was close to landing my 1st i used to fold a couple of shirts under my jeans on the side of my pelvis, those slam are tuff shit...yeeep, i am that old.

Yeah I’ve been putting off this trick for a while. Haven’t committed to going inverted and holding the coping… this video gives me feelings of confidence, though. I will give it another shot asap

There is a whole lot, i feel, that isn't being said about inverts. What is happening as you approach the coping? What is my first move i need to think about as i go up the transition? When i try on smaller ramps below the coping i tend to do a arch/rainbow manoeuvre and not straight up and down. Is this wrong? I have so many questions about this trick !

This is something I've been trying for a while but they're always pretty low on the ramp, maybe I just need to go for the coping.

Do you have to push off the coping with your arm to get back in
@CommonYouthBrand
Жыл бұрын
AJ has mentioned on sessions that as the ramp gets bigger you basically just fall back into it rather than pushing off.
