My favorite player of all time. I was old enough to watch MJ and the Bulls back in the mid to late 90s, but the D Rose Bulls were my team growing up, never seen a team with more heart. He was the most exciting player I ever watched, and if not for his injuries I believe he was destined to be a top 10 player of all time. Still, coming back from those injuries and continuing to develop his game to stay relevant in the NBA was very impressive. The 50 point game in Minnesota was one of the most legendary games of all time, due to his ability to bounce back and still compete. 100% deserves to be in the hall of fame, not only for his accolades and skill in his prime, but for his heart and perseverance.

@johngriller4997 Well you bring up a good point, this is why I said #1 pg. It's hard to toute him as number 1 player when LeBum shut him down 2011, I still remember that series vividly. LeBron shut him down completely.

@@JacksonBottom-cz2fl what does one series in which his 2nd best score was luol Deng, has to do with the fact that he could’ve easily been the best player of this generation? Not hard to stop literally one offensive threat when u have a fucking superteam that also is elite on defense. DWade, Joel Anthony, Birdman, mfs were all defensive studs. DRose only had defenders and one floor spacer in Korver.

@johngriller4997 It has a whole lot do with his legacy my man. Even IF he would of had a great career and never got injured let's say, if he doesn't win a championship or multiple, we will always look at how LeBron shut him down plus LeBron is winning rings on his dime so how could we sit here and say he could of been the NUMBER 1 player when LeBron and Curry winning all these rings? And that's another thing, you gon put D. Rose over Curry? Come on now! We gotta be realistic in our stance and not live in fantasy land.

Derrick Rose is the reason my oldest loves basketball. When he was little we played 2k together and back then you couldn't pick what team you play for in my career. For some reason it kept putting us on the bulls. He was the best player on the court. So from 3 to 5, he would walk around saying Derrick Rose was the best player. He even cried one time when he got hurt in real life. Till this day 13 years later Rose is the only non Sixer jersey I have ever bought. My son's first jersey and my son still wears his number when he plays.
