You are making really nice videos. I´m getting "Fernweh" seeing this footage of the beautiful andalusian sceenery. I´d really like to go there with my KTM LC4 640 Adventure R. And taking my Suzuki TL1000S for a spin on the recetracks! Just dreamin´! Did you get up the Tuareq by yourself after the tipover? I think I have to wait until next week to see how it turned out ;) Keep up the good work!

The 640 would be perfect for these trails! Most of it is very gentle, and that run up the mountain you can go quite fast in some sections. As for what happens next, I think you already know what my answer will be! ;)

I am so glad you're making these type of videos! 🥳 I test rode the Tuareg here in Portugal last year, and I can't wait for my turn to go on such rides! Keep doing them videos, and I shall watch them indefinitely. Good job!

I spent 4 days on track in Andalusia last October & each day on the way back to the hotel we'd look out at the mountains in the distance & play a game of, "Do you think you'd get a bike up there?" 😆 Looks like I'll need to bring the adv bike as well as the track bike next time!

Literally what we were thinking the first time we visited, and exactly why we brought the ADV bikes. The Gorafe (video before this one) is even better

Cool, but what about the bike? Still too heavy for these types of trails? How tough to pick up at the end there? Looking for your point of view on the 660.

Absolutely great on unsealed roads/easy trails. About the same as a kitted up a single cylinder (DR650, etc...). Not as easy as an XR400, so I wouldn't bother with really gnarly stuff

@@btgmoto Thx for quick response. I had a highly modded and lightweight DR650. Tight single track possible, but pretty top heavy. I also have a XR400, great bike, but basically a dirt bike. Equal to my 350 EXCF to a non-expert. If a 660 can do dirt like a DR, and be good on the highways at speed, then it's an amazing increase in "range of use", which is what I'm (and most of us?) really chasing.

@@hailwood900 That's really why I bought it. Ability to cruise control and do my road tour kms in comfort, and just about enough off-road ability to do mild lanes.

Yeah, this bike is also on my short list for a new mid-size ADV Motorcycle.

Absolutely PERFECT roads and trails for the Tuareg here. Spain is really made for motorcycles.

What tires are you running, and how did they fare?

Stock Pirelli Scorpion STR. They did OK. They feel like a street tyre on tarmac, really good. On loose sand? Not so great!

@@btgmotoeven worse on actual mud. They're great on the road, some say you can scrape the enduro pegs on a Ténéré with them
