I wear my Kennedy for President button. I have 2 bumper stickers Kennedy 2024. I love it when someone says to me I never discuss religion or politics. I smile and respond, I respect communism. It freaks them out. I add, that's communism. If a person is unable to have a mature adult conversation I can accept that. I keep a friendly tone, and I never raise my voice. I just drop it and tell them I'm good, I understand. I dislike being shamed for daring to bring up politics.

If you're in a blue state, sure. But Kennedy has dropped and endorsed Trump, specifically because he knows how bad things are and how bad they're going to get if we reward the Democrats with another 4 years. They will take it as a mandate, and turn their policy ideas up to 11. Total 1 party authoritarian control, less energy production and more reliance on foreign adversaries. Less economic output, more reliance on China for manufactured goods, trade goods, medicine, even basic effing resources. We will give more money to China and Russia while we swear to be against Russia. We will let even more illegal immigrants in, grant them amnesty and citizenship, and they will vote for the party that let them in. That's where all our jobs have gone to, look at the labor statistics! Natural born citizens have lost jobs all through the Biden Harris admin. Immigrants, even legal immigrants, have been the entire job growth for the past 4 years. RFK Jr is out. He knows Trump is better than Harris, and he's right. Red state-Trump. Swing state - Trump. Blue state AND RFK is on ballot - RFK. If he's not on the ballot - Trump

All cattle is raised on grass for at least 80% of life. Grain finish is not a bad thing, in fact adds needed fat. Ruminants in nature will eat grasses that have seeded during late summer and fall. Seeds are a natural part of their diet. Solely green grass is unnatural, impractical and pricey to the consumer which lends to the privileged only. We all need meat. Confined cattle raising makes sense and does not harm the animal, in fact provides abundance for the cows and a vital source of nourishment for humans.

A corse correction is a whole different animal from a flip flop. Two ways a flip flop happen. First is when someone backs a good policy then reverses it to blatantly bad position. Second is when someone backs a bad policy the when all the research comes out that the bad policy can be proven to wrong, then the somone triples down on it until it is completely burnt to the ground, then all of a sudden its a bad policy.

I eat fermented dairy such as yogurt and cheese and eat a variety of meats including organic free range chicken, fresh wild salmon and grass fed beef. However, I do consume some sprouted grains, nuts and seeds along with fresh fruits and vegetables. The fiber in fresh fruits will help curb glucose spikes and can be very satisfying to people that have a sweet tooth. It’s much better than eating cakes and cookies with refined sugar. Our ancestors were hunters and gatherers so eating like them is likely a wise choice. Thanks for all the great information!

Lost a lot of respect with this interview. Insulin resistance is caused from too much fat in the diet. The fat gets in the cells of the muscle and doesn’t allow for uptake of insulin. That is insulin resistance. People get plenty of protein, they do not get enough fiber. Saying that eating pineapple is the same as eating a candy bar is a gross mischaracterization. The pineapple has a lot of vitamins, nutrients, and fiber that blunts the impact of sugar of which the candy bar has none. People need to eat more whole fruits and vegetables, animal protein has place but the number one problem is processed junk food of which makes up over 50% of the American diet.

The environmental science supports plant-dominant diets. The nutrition science supports plant-dominant diets. However, there are people who use this science to justify censorship of alternative viewpoints because they seek to limit the consumption of animal products to lessen the climate impact. Problem is... This attempt to control nutrition narratives and nutrition in general has had the opposite of the intended effect. People have radicalized against the science. Vegans blocking butcher shops breeds carnivores. Censorship of nutrition narratives in the mainstream breeds independent spreaders of nutrition misinformation like Nina herself. We just learn from this phenomenon and encourage free speech and free choice. I'm no fan of Nina, but I do believe it's important for her viewpoint to be heard and appropriately challenged. I'd just appreciate it if Walter Willet was the next guest on this podcast. I like RFKs campaign, but I do feel as if Nicole is a bit under qualified to properly challenge Nina here. There's a ton of nuance that they didn't so much as sniff in this podcast. I'm not a vegan, nor do I think I'll ever be. I'm 98% vegetarian. I see no moral issue with humane milk production and consumption, and I drink whole milk everyday. I do believe it to be healthy too, but moderation is key. There was no mention of "everything in moderation" in this entire podcast, and that's where all that nuance lies. You can't base your entire argument on the belief that carbs are the problem without mentioning the types of carbs that people have been consuming in the past 30 years. Fact is, most ultra-processed food is filled with carbs, fat, and salt to appeal to our desire for dopamine.... and no fiber. We don't need to all be one vegan to save the planet. Plant-dominant nutrition will suffice... Plus it's healthier. We don't have any science to say that vegan diets are healthier than vegetarian diets anyway.
