In my 28 years of life, I've noticed a pattern: I get really into something only to not give it a fair shot or see it completely through. The truth is, I tend to spend days...weeks even, looking into things I'm genuinely drawn to, only to sell myself short by not fully diving into it. I'm especially doing myself a disservice when it comes to something I feel my soul enjoys.
In my case, it’s making videos.
I’ve been doing it on and off since high school, sometime in 2010 but have only recently, in the past month, been drastically called back into it.
“I’m not ready”
“This isn’t my best work”
“This didn’t turn out the way I envisioned”
“I’m not where I want to be yet”
“Is it good enough?”
These are things I would ask that had limited myself.
It’s never too late to start or pick things back up.
So here I am.
Not sure where this will go but I can’t help but feel compelled to create things from my perspective without worry, just my thoughts and ideas in video form.
