I've never felt this good after listening to something I didn't understand.

This is fascinating. Reminds me of a series of article talking about how everything ends up being a network, performance via cache locality is fractal in nature and the sprectrum spans from internet scale down to transistors. The firedancer team is doing amazing work in such a short amount of time. Anyone have links to the documentation/specs they used to implement Solana to spec?

How hard is division since p = 2^255-19 it is quite computationally demanding. Since p is prime by little Fermat theorem a^{p-1} = a^-1 (mod p) for some a. a^{p-1} can be found in O(log(p)) => ~255 operations.

Can we hire this guy to design an SVM-efficient smart contract language? EDIT: have him rewrite Sealevel/SVM to work well with hardware too. Firedancer could probably achieve much more if the interfaces all the way up the stack were designed by someone like this guy.
