Wait this in Wales and that's a Baldwin. I have many Questions. But to start Why? and Arent American locomotives too big for most British lines? Like even as what im assuming is a 2 foot gauge.

Yes this is in wales there was a standard gauge railway build on a simular route wich closed And the track was taken away. Part of the line got reopened as narrow gauge Yes the do use Baldwins To answer the size question Both America and Britain Mostly use standard gauge 4ft 8 ½ So the wheels would fit on the track but some might be too wide and tall for our tunnels and I think the loading gauge is slightly diffrent too. But this is a privately/company owned railway So they might have built it with the intension to use them types of locos
