Nice riding Brett. Your an inspiration. Its visionaries like you that progress this sport for the rest of us. Ive been putting my sleds on serious diets because of your style and it is truly where it is at!

thats the boondocker chris burandt backcountry sled, sno pro is only a little over a thousand dollars more than regular m8, for the most part its just fox shocks!
@g110t

That burandt backcountry sled is crankin out a little over 200hp and its only $ 17,500 or $ 7,000 up grade to your snopro! But then you can ride just like BRET

@TheOfficialKC Durability is greatly lacking compared to the four-strokes. They do make significantly more power, though, not quite the night-and-day difference you see on the big four's. Powerband.... 2-strokes in general are quite a bit narrower, and yes, it is still quite narrow on boost. But with correct clutching, generally not a problem. Bottom line... they do work. But really, there's nothing you can do with a turbo-2 that can't be done better with a turbo-4.

so beautifull..make me wanna ride my sled! can't wait for winter..! I would like to get people like burandt and brett to teach me how to ride like that!
@v8rangerboy
14 жыл бұрын
@TheOfficialKC Ridden yes, built, no. I came close to building one but the benefits are just much greater in a 4S powerplant. The two-stroke plant isn't unrideably narrow, by any means, but I definitely don't feel like they pull out of the hole like the big turbo-4s. They are still a blast to ride, but as far as I'm concerned, it's not worth the investment in a two stroke. But that's just my 2 cents. I also have riding buddies who love their turbo 2's and you won't convince them otherwise.

brett is the man!!! he is the master of tech. riding. why do you think burandt is so good?? bret r. thats why!!!! (and the m sled)
@v8rangerboy
14 жыл бұрын
@TheOfficialKC As far as durability goes... it's all in how aggressive you want to get, really. You certainly have alot more margin for error with a turbo-4 than the turbo-2s in my experience. The bottom end in most of the Yamaha 4's is damn-near unkillable. That definitely can't be said for most of today's 2's.

@evilangel2112 im with you on this one. the trees come out of it just fine in time. if anything they give ya a little more traction. this guy is the man on a sled. he puts the words of hold my beer and watch this shit. this is gotta be one of the better videos bret has.
@TheOfficialKC

@v8rangerboy Have you ever built or ridden a turbo 2-stroke? I am wondering because people who have say the opposite you are. What they told me is that they pull everywhere in the powerband and are still reliable.

@TheOfficialKC

Turbo M8? How is that? I have heard many different things about turbo 2-strokes. I have heard they 1) Don't work, 2) Make a hell of a lot of power, 3) have a very small powerband, 4) hand grenades with the pin pulled out. So what is the truth?
