A Helles Bock (or a Maibock) is the stronger and slightly more malty cousin of the Helles, but that hasn't fully committed to the lifestyle of the Darker Bocks. I'm not a huge fan of Bocks, but I am a huge fan of Helles, so I expect to be at least a moderate fan of this brew, but lets find out!

6.7% ABV | 6.6 SRM | 32 IBU
WATER AND ADDITIONS
- 4.5 Gallons RO Water
- 3.2 g Calcium Chloride
- 1.0 g Epsom Salt
- 0.9 g Gypsum
FERMENTABLES
- Pilsner (40%) 3 lbs 6 oz
- Vienna (40%) 3 lbs 6 oz
- Munich Light (20%) 1 lb 11 oz
Mash at 149° F for 60 Min
HOPS
- 30 MIN - Hallertau Magnum (14.0%) 0.5 oz - 28.1 IBU
- 5 MIN - Hallertauer Mittelfrueh (4%) 1 oz - 4.2 IBU
YEAST
- White Labs- WLP833 German Bock Lager
FERMENTATION
- 10 days at 55° F - 12.7° C
- 10 days at 62° F - 16.7° C
- 3 days at 36° F - 2° C
CARBONATION AND CONDITIONING
- Kegged, 1 week @ 14psi,
